After nearly five years away from the public eye, Anna Duggar has made a comeback on social media, much to the surprise of her followers.
The former 19 Kids and Counting star, 37, shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday, February 17, showcasing some of the new puppies she has for sale from her Golden Grove Pups breeding business.
In a video recorded from her car, Anna introduced her audience to a few puppies she had with her. “Hi there! We’re just waiting for our vet appointment, and I thought I would introduce you to some of our guys,” she said, cradling several puppies. “They’re just sweet little guys. One thing about English Creams is that they seem to be a much milder breed.”
Since her husband, Josh Duggar, was convicted in 2021 for downloading and possessing child sex abuse images, Anna has largely stepped back from the public sphere. Josh’s sentencing, which took place in May 2022, resulted in a 151-month, or approximately 12.5-year, prison term.
In July 2024, In Touch reported that sources indicated Anna and Josh were facing financial difficulties during his incarceration.
As In Touch previously reported in July 2024, sources revealed that Josh and Anna were struggling financially amid his imprisonment.
“Their savings aren’t limitless and not much is coming in,” a source said at the time. “And there’s little hope of any of them ever getting another reality show.”
While they had previously depended on income from the reality show 19 Kids and Counting, at one point Josh considered writing a tell-all book to supplement his family’s finances.
“He has nothing to lose at this point, and certainly his wife could use the money,” the source told In Touch. “Finances are a huge issue right now, so a book would mean a big payday for Josh. And no one would be off limits — including this own family.”
As of now, he hasn’t published anything.
