However, now at 23-years-old, Ariana stars in her very own Bravo series, Next Gen NYC, and fans get an inside look at her new move to the Big Apple and the challenges that any 20-something year-old faces both in her career and personal life.

When Next Gen NYC first aired, Ariana was seen apartment hunting for the perfect place while she and her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, stayed in a hotel. Eventually, they landed a spot that felt like home—even if it was slightly over her budget.

Ariana Biermann is learning what it takes to make it in New York City on Bravo’s Next Gen NYC. The reality TV star made the move to the Big Apple with her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, and their new SoHo apartment doesn’t come cheap. According to Bravo, the couple is shelling out $10,000 a month for their place. Viewers watched as Ariana and Hudson searched for the perfect apartment and eventually traded hotel living for a space they could finally call their own.

In Episode 4 of the Bravo series, Ariana and Hudson give a tour of their new place. The apartment is $10,000 a month, which is way more than what Ariana had budgeted for, which was originally $6,000 a month. However, it looks like the perfect place for the young couple as they are located in the downtown area filled with bustling restaurants and a chic nightlife.

“There is ample amounts of space,” Ariana shares as she and Hudson tour the space. “I’m very impressed with this closet,” she adds, even stating that she can’t believe the apartment has both a tub and a shower. Once the couple got their dream apartment, Hudson shared, “Thank you lord, we have finally found a place. I could not live in a hotel for another day.”

But, Ariana stressed that the two went way over their budget of $10,000 a month. “We definitely exceeded the budget,” she shared, adding, “And a 15 percent broker fee. (Which came to $18,000) What the hell, New York?”

In July 2024, Ariana shared an Instagram post celebrating her big move to the Big Apple with Hudson. Sharing a photo kissing her boyfriend on a NYC rooftop she captioned the image: “taking our love story to a new city 🙂 we officially live in New York!!!! thank you god for making this possible and allowing me to live my dream w my best friend

Fans even got to see RHOA alum Kim Zolciak make a visit to New York City to visit her daughter and see her new place. She was astounded by her quickly Ariana and Hudson had furnished the place, but shocked that she might need to sleep on a giant bean bag.

Ariana And Hudson Move Out Of Their $10,000 A Month SoHo Apartment

However, Bravo reported that Ariana and Hudson had since moved out of their SoHo apartment, having lived there for a year. Sharing a video about their move to another place in New York City, she shared:

Who Is Hudson McLeroy?

While Next Gen NYC focuses on these 20-something year-olds trying to make it big in New York City, it has also given viewers a deeper glimpse into Ariana’s relationship with her boyfriend, Hudson. While some fans may not have known much about Hudson before the show, it turns out that he comes from a notable family.

According to Bravo, Hudson’s father, Zach McLeroy, is none other than the founder and current chairman of Zaxby’s, the popular fast-food chicken chain throughout the South. Since opening its first location in 1990, Zaxby’s has grown into a major brand with over 600 locations across the country. Hudson’s background just adds another intrigue to the couple’s story, especially as they navigate life, love and ambition in a city that’s known for its hustle.

Hudson’s bio for the Bravo show reads:

“Hudson comes from an Atlanta family known for massive self-made success, and he’s already had success on his own as an investor. Now, he’s heading straight into the hustle of New York City, all in the name of love.”

The two have been going strong ever since. In October, Hudson dedicated a sweet Instagram post to Ariana to celebrate her 23rd birthday:

As for what Hudson does for a living — he is an investor, and surely it doesn’t hurt being the son of someone who has a reported net worth of $1 billion. As for Ariana, she is an influencer, but made the move from Atlanta to New York to launch a streetwear fashion line.
