Ariana Grande has fans buzzing with speculation that she might be reigniting her romance with former flame Ricky Alvarez.
The pop sensation sparked the rumors during a live concert on Monday, where she made a poignant alteration to the lyrics of her hit track “Thank U, Next,” a song known for mentioning several of her past relationships.
In the original version of the 2018 chart-topper, Grande reflects with humor, singing, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.”
But in her recent performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, she surprised fans by changing the line to, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / We always find our way back.”
As captured in a fan-shared clip from the “Eternal Sunshine” tour, the crowd immediately erupted into cheers, reacting to the clear message conveyed in her revised lyrics.
Grande’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Victorious” alum’s cheeky hint comes on the heels of her making headlines for multiple outings with Alvarez — nearly a decade after their breakup.
Page Six obtained photos of the duo, who dated between 2015 and 2016, on a shopping run together over the Fourth of July weekend.
At the time, the former couple were photographed leaving a Whole Foods in Boca Raton, Florida, with grocery bags.
The Grammy winner and her former backup dancer also hung out in June, the same month news broke of the songwriter splitting from boyfriend Ethan Slater.
Photos circulated of the two out to eat in Texas, though a source insisted to TMZ at the time that there “is nothing romantic between Ariana and Ricky this time around.”
But during her Austin concert right around that time, Grande did another “Thank U, Next” lyric tweak, gushing that he has “still got [her] back.”
Alvarez’s reaction was caught on camera, with him proudly shaking a friend’s hand.
The exes have seemingly remained friendly over the years and were spotted together in January 2019.
After their short-lived romance, the singer moved on with Mac Miller, ex-fiancé Pete Davidson, Dalton Gomez — whom she was married to from 2021 to 2024 — and Slater.
