Are wedding bells ringing in the near future for Ariana Madix? Some observant fans have been buzzing this week, having noticed that the Vanderpump Rules star shared several intriguing photos on Instagram which suggest she might be getting serious with boyfriend Daniel Wai.
Though Ariana hasn’t made any official engagement announcements, she might be dropping subtle hints on her social media. The latest clue comes from images of her hosting Love Island USA, where she can be seen sporting a particular ring on a significant finger. Could there be more truth to these whispers than mere speculation?
The rumors gained traction after Ariana posted several pictures on her Instagram, prominently displaying a sizable ring typically associated with engagements. This follows a romantic getaway she recently enjoyed with Daniel Wai. The couple celebrated her 40th birthday in Fiji with friends, prompting fans to speculate whether Daniel seized the moment to propose.
Fans Spotted Ariana’s Possible Engagement Ring
The root of the rumors, it seems, are some photos Ariana posted on her personal Instagram page, several of which feature her wearing a large ring on her engagement ring. This comes on the heels of a romantic trip that Ariana took with her boyfriend, Daniel Wai. She and Daniel went on a trip to Fiji with a group in order to ring in her 40th birthday, and now fans are wondering if Daniel used the opportunity to pop the question.
Among the variety of images that Ariana posted are photos of her enjoying a concert with some friends and during her recent appearance on Love Island USA (for which she serves as the host). In both of the pictures, Ariana can be seen sporting the same large ring. In the comments, fans were quick to jump to conclusions about Ariana’s new bling:
I believe Ariana might be engaged.
Those who have been following Ariana’s personal life will know that her heart was broken in 2023 when her partner of more than ten years, Tom Sandoval, was found to have cheated on her with their friend and fellow cast member Raquel Leviss. The incident, soon known as “Scandoval,” marked the end of the pair’s relationship, and Ariana publicly denounced Tom for his betrayal.
In the comments of Ariana’s post with Daniel, fans were quick to support her in her new relationship. “Even though it was done in a terrible way, Scandoval was the best thing that could’ve happened to her. Tom was deadweight,” wrote one. “She was very open about the reasons for not wanting some ‘traditional’ stuff and it was all mostly due to fears she had. If she found someone she could build her life with without those fears, that’s amazing,” added another.
Ariana Gushed About Her Boyfriend
It seems that Ariana is perfectly content with Daniel, and that she can’t say enough great things about him. In a conversation with Us Weekly last year, Ariana told the outlet how special her relationship with Daniel was, and how he was unlike anyone she’d been with before:
I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who feels the way about me that Daniel feels. He thinks I am the most beautiful person in the world, the funniest person in the world, the smartest. He’s constantly telling me how smart I am and how much he believes in me, and I just feel like having that kind of partner makes everything feel so easy. I never feel stressed. I never feel worried, and he’s always reassuring me, and it feels really nice.
“He is so incredible. He’s so smart. He’s so supportive. He’s so cute,” she continued. “He’s just constantly in my corner. He’s someone who I look up to. If someone were to have told me five years ago before I ever met him [that I would end up] dating this guy, I’d be like, ‘Wow. I would love him for anyone because he is so amazing.’”
For his part, Tom hasn’t been very public about his dating life since his cheating scandal back in 2023. Instead, he’s taken his pivot away from Vanderpump Rules as an opportunity to expand his reality TV resume. Since leaving the show, he’s also appeared in several other projects, trying to show viewers another side of himself.
Those who have been keeping up with his TV career will know that he competed on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, where celebrities undergo intense military-style challenges, and joined the cast of The Traitors for its third season, another competition series that blends strategy and deception. Most recently, he also appeared on America’s Got Talent with his band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, performing as part of the show’s “Fantasy League” season.
