Bachelorette Villain Devin Strader Danced With A 'Jenn Ain't It' Sign On NYE

If you watched the most recent season of The Bachelorette, reality TV villain Devin Strader needs no introduction — he’s the guy who apparently went way out of his way to stomp on poor Jenn Tran’s heart.

But if you need a refresher, Devin’s cruelty was a third-act stunner during the Bachelorette finale, which we recapped after it aired and shocked Bachelor Nation to its core.

As we pointed out, Devin – during the self-same finale – made an impassioned plea to Jenn’s mother and brother, James Tran, swearing up and down that he’d basically die of unrequited love if Jenn didn’t pick him over Marcus Shoberger:

“Would it kill me to not be the one? It would. One hundred percent. Because I believe so much in what [Jenn and I] have.”

The Bachelorette ended back in September, and it’s so easy to forget that Devin seemed to have everyone fooled — if he didn’t, his “heel turn” in the finale wouldn’t have come as such a shock.

Jenn bucked tradition by proposing to Devin, and he accepted, only to turn around and break her heart. She explained:

“We left Hawaii engaged but … [crying] as soon as we left, things were different. He pulled away and went back on his promises.”

Things got even worse from there — new information about Devin’s past came to light, and as if humiliating Jenn live on TV wasn’t enough harm to inflict upon her, he exposed every single one of their private text messages in an Instagram Reel.

All of which is to say, it beggars belief that Devin seems to hold Jenn in such contempt, given that she doesn’t seem to have done anything to him other than gain the favor of Bachelor Nation while he earned their ire.

So why is he still so desperate to lash out at her?

On New Year’s Eve, Devin apparently partied with another Bachelorette alum, Brian Autz.

Brian was in Season 21 alongside Devin, apparently to vie for Jenn’s heart, and the guys went out together to ring in 2025.

That night, Brian shared a since-deleted or expired Instagram Story featuring Devin, but someone on Reddit’s r/thebachelor screenshotted the post before it disappeared:

Without any context, the image is peak cringe — whether Devin had anything to do with the “Jenn Ain’t It” sign, posing next to it just looks creepy and obsessive.

Alas, there is no additional context regarding the “Jenn Ain’t It” sign, nor any indication of why Devin might want to be photographed near it.

Fans on Reddit continued being dismayed over Devin in general, and one wrote: “I feel like the producers owe Jenn some sort of large settlement for forcing this man onto her.”

Another user was thinking along the same lines as we were:

One user pointed out that Devin has an alleged history of “stalking” and “abuse,” and another commented: “At this point, it’s straight up evil. Like how can he even show his face with no shame or remorse? He is straight up leaning into being a villain.”

Ultimately, Devin’s “Jenn Ain’t It” sign pics were a perfect encapsulation of Devin’s public persona — no one knows what he thought the gesture would accomplish, but it only served to reinforce his negative image.
