Beckham son 'splits' from partner amid rumoured family feud - despite her support

Romeo Beckham and his girlfriend, Kim Turnball, have reportedly split up. The couple’s relationship is said to have “fizzled out” after seven months together, according to a source.

It comes just weeks after they appeared together at David Beckham’s 50th birthday party celebrations. The event, which Romeo’s older brother Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz did not attend, was the catalyst to fierce rumours suggesting that there was a feud within the famous family. It was reported that Nicola did not like to be around Kim, as she allegedly thought that the DJ had previously dated Brooklyn.

According to the Daily Mail, a source has said that Romeo and Kim have remained “amicable”. They said: “Romeo and Kim are both young and they had a lovely time together but at that age things don’t always last forever and they decided to split up.

“They have been friendly since and have even been at the same venues. It’s a huge shame, particularly as David and Victoria really adored her and thought she made Romeo happy but it wasn’t to be. It happened a couple of weeks ago and relations have remained friendly between them.”

They added: “David and Victoria would hate for the view to be that they split because of Nicola and Brooklyn because that simply isn’t the case. The fact is that Kim has got a really busy career as a DJ and Romeo has a busy work life too, there is lots of travelling for both of them at having a relationship at this time isn’t all that conducive to their lives.”

Kim was rumoured to be at the centre of the feud, as reports claimed that Nicola, 30, allegedly felt uncomfortable around her. It was reported that Romeo wasn’t the first Beckham brother that Kim had dated, with her supposedly going out with Brooklyn briefly when they were teenagers.

However, younger brother Cruz, 20, shut down the gossip recently. He responded to an Instagram post showing a picture of Romeo and Kim together. In a now-deleted comment, a social media user quizzed: “It’s appropriate to date your brother’s ex too? Cool.” Cruz replied to set the record straight as he wrote: “Brooklyn and Kim never dated.”

Romeo first publicly launched his relationship with Kim last November. Around this time, eagle-eyed fans of the family noted that Nicola and Brooklyn seemed to stop “liking” his content.
