For Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, bedroom matters are strictly off-limits for public discussion.
“I’m not permitted to speak about that publicly,” Benny Blanco, 38, stated during the May 12 episode of his “Friends Keep Secrets” podcast. This response came after co-host Lil Dicky inquired about the music producer’s private life with his spouse.
Blanco also refuted any suggestion that Gomez, 33, compelled him to sign a non-disclosure agreement to keep their personal life under wraps.
“No, it’s just about being respectful,” Blanco emphasized. “It’s kind of my personal code. I’m just being a gentleman or something along those lines. I’m not entirely sure.”
The wedding between Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez wasn’t without its hiccups. Blanco shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on February 26 that Gomez was in tears after misplacing her handwritten vows shortly before their wedding day. “She was really upset because she couldn’t find them,” he revealed.
Blanco and Gomez have been together since 2023, tying the knot two years later in September 2025.
“She’s my best friend,” Blanco gushed to Interview magazine in March 2025 of his relationship with his now-wife. “The second time we hung out, our second date, I was like, ‘Wait, does she like me?’ I was clueless. From then on, it was easy.”
He continued, “You know when you think you met the right person, you’re like, ‘Oh my god.’ But it feels so different. The second we started hanging out, I was like, ‘This is my wife.’ I was telling my mom, ‘This is the girl I’m going to marry.’”
Since Blanco and Gomez said “I do,” their romance has only continued to blossom.

“Selena had nerves before doing her first look with Benny, but from that moment on, she was radiating joy,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly after the wedding. “You could tell how happy she was, and she did not stop smiling or crying tears of joy the entire day.”
According to the insider, Gomez repeatedly told guests that she had “the best weekend and day of her life.”
When Gomez later appeared on Blanco’s podcast in March, she further called their wedding day a “pivotal moment” in her life.
“That’s when I realized I was like, ‘Oh I want this,’” the Only Murders in the Building actress recalled of her nuptials. “[Lil Dicky, our officiant] was killing and making everyone laugh in the right places, get emotional in the right places.”
Lil Dicky, 38, officiating Gomez and Blanco’s ceremony perfectly encapsulated their friendship.
“Coming into Benny’s world was really fun and exciting but different for me because I was very shy,” Gomez admitted at the time. “I didn’t know a lot of people and I kept to myself a lot which could be misconstrued but he was very nice and introduced me to a lot of people.”
