Bethenny Frankel Claps Back at Jackie Goldschneider’s Diss

Bethenny Frankel just responded to Jackie Goldschneider‘s negative comments about her Skinnygirl brand.

Just over a week after the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member shaded the Real Housewives of New York City alum for “marketing skinny,” telling her “f-ck your skinny brand” after struggling for years with an eating disorder, Bethenny reacted to a fan who asked for her thoughts in an Instagram comment.

“Please tell us that you’re going to respond to Jackie’s comment about Skinny Girl!!! My jaw was on the floor,” the fan wrote to Bethenny on Instagram, as seen in a screenshot shared on the All Things Bravo Reality TV page on Facebook.

But Bethenny didn’t know, or acted like she didn’t know, who Jackie was.

“Who?” she asked.

As fans may have seen, Jackie spoke out against the former RHONY cast member earlier this month at a live taping of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast in New York City.

“Bethenny has Skinnygirl, and I’ve got a very strong opinion on this one because I say, ‘F-ck marketing skinny,’” Jackie said. “I’m sick of f-cking marketing skinny. I don’t want to drink something because it’s going to keep me skinny, so f-ck you, Bethenny. F-ck your skinny brand. That’s how I really feel.”

Although Page Six reached out to Bethenny for a response, they did not hear back. Instead, her rep said Bethenny has “personal experience” with eating disorders and claimed Jackie attempted to contact her on a number of occasions.

“Jackie has reached out to Bethenny and corresponded several times, so it’s interesting that she didn’t reach out there. She is very engaged and connected to her audience. Bethenny wishes Jackie well on her personal and business journey!” the rep stated.

Back in June, when asked for an update on her eating disorder recovery, Jackie, who was reportedly demoted from her full-time role after RHONJ season 12, told Page Six the process was “going well” but “not as easy as [she] thought it was” going to be.

“I thought I would just start eating more and everything would come together but there’s been a lot of hurdles for me, so I’m definitely, like, well on my way, a thousand times better than I was last year, but I do have issues,” she admitted. “None of my clothes fit me anymore. You know, that’s a lot for me. That’s been really hard for me – is not feeling good about myself and I have to take a step back and realize what I’m doing for my health and how much more important that is, but I’ve come a long way and I’ve got a long way to go.”

Jackie and the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast are expected to return to Bravo for season 13 early next year.
