Before her engagement to Donald Trump Jr., Anderson was linked to another wealthy figure, William “Beau” Wrigley Jr., the billionaire heir to the Wrigley gum fortune. The striking 23-year age difference between Anderson and Wrigley raised eyebrows and led to accusations of gold-digging—a narrative that has resurfaced with her current high-profile engagement.

Wrigley is a resident of North Palm Beach, Florida, where he crossed paths with Anderson, who is known as one of the area’s top socialites, and this reputation only increased after dating Wrigley. Two years after her relationship with Wrigley, she was named the top bachelorette of the region by The Palm Beacher, where she compared herself to supermodel Heidi Klum.
