Beyonce’s mum Tina Knowles’ home was targeted by an unnamed individual who pelted her mailbox with rocks last Saturday.
Following the attack, the suspect was arrested and taken into custody, according to a report by TMZ.
A police report stated the offender ran away when confronted by officers, but a police helicopter hovered above to track his movements, and thanks to that intervention, he has now been found and arrested.
Tina, the 69-year-old mother of multimillion selling performer Beyonce, declined to file a complaint or press charges, and the man is now said to have been placed on a psychiatric hold.
The news comes as Beyonce – known by her admiring fans as Queen Bee – prepares for a series of sold-out concerts across Europe and the UK as part of her hugely anticipated Renaissance tour.

However, it wasn’t always high fashion designer brands dressing Beyonce and in her early Destiny’s Child days, it was loyal mum Tina who designed, styled and created costumes for the girls to wear onstage.
Later, after Beyonce launched her solo career, she and Tina formally announced their own clothing brand, House of Dereon, which was billed as being “where the sidewalk and catwalk meet”.
The clothing line, which pays tribute to the star’s maternal grandmother by using her surname, Dereon, was also referenced in Beyonce’s songs Get Me Bodied and Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).
She later joked of her mum’s penchant for fashion: “I grew up in a fabric store. Fortunately, my mother would say: ‘Come on, let’s go to the fabric store,’ and she would make all of these beautiful clothes for myself and the other ladies of Destiny’s Child.
“After so many years, my fans said ‘We want to buy these clothes somewhere’, so it was a natural thing for [my mother and I] to do this line,” she revealed in an interview with CNN.
