Bhad Bhabie recently shared that she received discouraging news from her doctors as she continues her fight against cancer.
“Received disappointing updates from my doctor yesterday, but I believe God has the final say, not my cancer,” the rapper posted on X this past Saturday.
Bhabie first disclosed her cancer diagnosis in November 2024 following criticism from fans about her noticeably thinner appearance.
The 22-year-old artist, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, addressed the situation on her Instagram Stories, stating, “Apologies for my weight loss due to cancer medication. I’m gradually putting it back on, so stop spreading the worst narratives 💕.”
While Bhabie hasn’t provided specific details about her condition, a family source informed TMZ that she indeed has cancer and is under medical treatment.
At the time, she told a Daily Mail paparazzo outside of Los Angeles International Airport that she was “not prepared” for the run-in but was otherwise doing “OK.”
The musician shot to fame in 2016 after appearing on a “Dr. Phil” segment called “I Want to Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried to Frame Me for a Crime.”
“Catch me outside, that’s what I always do and they never catch me,” Bhabie said, coining the phrase that launched her stardom. “‘Ain’t nobody gonna catch me. Cash me outside, how ‘bout dat.”
The influencer soon became known as “Cash Me Outside Girl” before launching her rap career.
“I’ve always loved music. When I first started, I didn’t really have the confidence and didn’t think I could actually do it,” she gushed to Basic Magazine in 2023. “I was working with a lot of cowriters, but now, I do most of the writing by myself. I’ve definitely evolved. I’ve always loved music and rapping, so making it a profession came naturally to me.”
Reflecting on her work, Bhabie added that she felt like “a lot of my older music was kind of childish, but I was young —14 and 15 years old.”
“I’m 18 years old now and I’m definitely going to show that I’m more mature when it comes to both my content and its delivery,” continued the social media personality. “I’ve made a lot of my own music before, but it was mostly about what the label wanted. When you’re signed, they’re just thinking of hits and marketing, especially because I was so young. I didn’t have a lot of choices or a strong voice. But I’m older now. I understand the game now.”
Along with becoming more self assured in the studio, Bhabie also became a mom at 20.
She welcomed daughter Kali Love with ex-boyfriend Le Vaughn in March 2024.
“I feel very ready to be a mom,” Bhabie shared with Paper magazine one month before giving birth. “I’m so excited to do all of the little ‘mom and daughter’ things together. I can’t wait to dress her up, take her shopping, spend 1-on-1 time and travel all over. Just the simple things.”
During a May 2025 podcast interview with Camilla Araujo, the “Geek’d” singer detailed the joys of motherhood.
“The things that make me happy are just being a mom,” she gushed, before adding about Kali, “I just like watching her do things.”
According to Bhabie, her daughter “has my attitude.”
Meanwhile, the star was first linked to Le Vaughn 2020.
Bhabie and Le Vaugh, whom she accused of physical abuse in July 2024, have broken up and gotten back together multiple times.
