Fans were unsure of The Office at the start. However, the show exploded to popularity thanks to its exposure through streaming platforms such as Netflix. Suddenly, the show burst into fame, and was on a loop by lots of fans, including Billie Eilish.

Billie Eilish Is Obsessed With The Office And Revealed That She Watched The Series Over 30 Times
The Office aired for nearly a decade, releasing 9 seasons and 201 episodes. Fans will argue that the show could have continued on for several extra seasons. Surely, Billie Eilish is an advocate for that conversation, given her obsession with the sitcom. According to the artist, she has the show on constantly, even when she’s doing everyday tasks.
“It’s playing only on my phone. I don’t watch it on anything else. It’s playing on my phone at all times. When I’m in the shower, I can’t have any silence guys, I have it sitting outside the shower.”
She continues, “When I’m getting dressed, when I’m eating food, when I put on makeup, when I do my hair…I was rearranging my closet a couple of months ago and it was just in my pocket. I couldn’t even see it. It was just in my pocket and the audio was playing and it’s like I listen to it like it’s a podcast. Also because I’ve seen it so many times, I have it all memorized, like all the lines memorized and all the visuals memorized.”
Eilish took her obsession for the show to the next level, including the show in the song, My Strange Addiction.
“He had this beat to it that was so goofy. And I was like, ‘Dude, this reminds me of the song that they dance to [on ‘The Office’], The Scarn,’” she recalled. “I played the scene, and it was giving me that same feeling of dumb, but kind of groovy as sh*t. We jokingly, truly, truly, truly jokingly, ripped the audio and put it in the song, and there was not any reality that it would work or be okay.”
Billie ended up obtaining the rights to it from NBC and as they say, the rest is history.
Rainn Wilson Quizzed Billie Eilish About The Office And The Artist Knew Most Of The Answers Without Hesitation
Released by Billboard on YouTube, the video clip has over 21 million views. It was hard to get anything passed Eilish when it came to Office trivia. Eilish was especially sharp when it came to filling which character said a certain statement.
Rainn Wilson was clearly impressed with Eilish and her knowledge for the show.

A great moment and one Eilish won’t forget.
Carell gained some serious credit with his kids over the song, My Strange Addiction. Eilish contacted Carell over the use of his line on the show. Carell asked his kids about the collab, and they were all for it.
“There was some definite credibility I gained with my children. I was not familiar with her music and I asked my daughter Annie, ‘Billie Eilish, would this be cool? Yeah, you have to do that. That’s totally cool.”
“So yeah, I got a lot of cred, especially with my daughter,” he added.
The track includes Carell saying, “No Billie, I haven’t done that dance since my wife died.” While Ed Helms’ character Andy says, “There’s a whole crowd of people out there who need to learn how to do the Scarn.”
Quite the homage to The Office and we have reason to believe it won’t be the last time an artist honors the show.
