The latest season of The Traitors saw a fascinating clash of reality TV titans, with newcomer Dylan Efron and Survivor icon Boston Rob Mariano joining forces. Although Dylan emerged as the champion, being one of the few faithfuls to reach the finale, he and Rob have developed a lasting friendship that continues beyond the show.

Recently, the duo shared insights into their extensive understanding of Survivor. During their discussion, they also revealed specific game rules they believe should be eliminated.

In a conversation with E! News, Rob and Dylan discussed the changes they would implement in Survivor if given the opportunity. They both identified a particular rule they believe grants certain players an unjust advantage.

Boston Rob Hated The Reversal Twist

Rob and Dylan chatted with E! News about the tweaks that they would make to Survivor if they were in charge. Each of them felt that there was a rule that allowed certain players to have an unfair advantage.

Rob shared that there was a condition included a few years back that he felt upset the game too much:

A few seasons ago, they had a twist called ‘Turn Back the Time’ where basically someone got an opportunity to reverse a decision that was made in the game. I just think it was really unfair for all the people that were involved.

The twist has been used in huge ways on the show, including a group taking immunity away from others and applying it to themselves.

Dylan Dislikes Survivor‘s Immunities

For his part, Dylan had another part of the gameplay that he wasn’t a fan of. He shared with the outlet his opinions on the seasons’ multiple immunities:

I don’t love all the hidden immunities, immunities on immunities. There’s too many immunities. It’s a little confusing for a new person to get into Survivor with all these different awards on the island.

“I also don’t like when they get a reward and then there’s an immunity on that reward. That’s only, like, four people [who] might get that. It’s swaying the balance too much,” he added.

As of now, neither man has plans to join future seasons of Survivor. Dylan competed on the most recent season of Dancing With The Stars, where Rob attended the finale to cheer on his friend.
