In the history of reality TV, there have been few franchises that people have cared about as much as the Real Housewives. As a result, there is so much interest in the cast of RHOBH that fans know about the divorce curse, Dorit Kemsley and Sutton Stracke’s feud, and the show’s new cast members. Real Housewives fans also know about Taylor Armstrong leaving RHOBH, about Adrienne Maloof’s three sons, and about the fact that Annemarie Wiley has a medical career.
Unfortunately for Annemarie, it turns out that another reality show star with a medical career wasn’t impressed with something she did. After Botched’s Dr. Terry Dubrow commented on Brandi Glanville’s facial problems, he called Annemarie out.
Botched Star Dr. Terry Dubrow Called Out RHOBH’s Annemarie Wiley’s Behavior
Throughout the history of the Real Housewives franchise, cast members have gotten into some truly epic feuds. In most of those cases, there have been millions of fans who’ve weighed in on which Real Housewives star was right.
In some cases, there have been other reality stars who’ve spoken out about Real Housewives feuds. That makes sense since many of the people who star in other reality shows are Real Housewives fans too.
On the other hand, it is remarkable that a reality star who is also a legitimate medical doctor weighed in on one Real Housewives feud. Amazingly enough, Botched’s Dr. Terry Dubrow called out how The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Annemarie Wiley treated Sutton Stracke.
In February 2024, Dr. Terry spoke to E! News about Annemarie Wiley and Sutton Stracke’s uncomfortable Real Housewives feud.

Having a medical doctor weigh in on a reality TV feud may seem strange at first glance, but it makes perfect sense in this case.
During episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sutton was shown making claims about a medical ailment she was suffering from. In response, Annemarie made statements about Sutton lying about her medical claims while citing her own medical expertise.
In October 2023, Screen Rant published an article about who Annemarie Wiley is. That article states that Annemarie is a medical professional since she works as a successful Nurse Anesthetist.
While talking to E! News in February 2024, Dr. Terry was asked to weigh in on Sutton’s claims about her medical situation. Instead of discussing whether Sutton was lying, Dr. Terry spoke about how a medical professional shouldn’t try to diagnose someone who isn’t a patient. Notably, Annemarie had already done the thing that Dr. Terry stated a medical professional shouldn’t do.
“It’s tough because when a person has a medical condition and you’re not their provider, you’re only getting incomplete information. So, it puts you in a potentially precarious situation to start making opinions based on the little bit of information you may or may not have.”
It has to be noted that the above quote from Dr. Terry didn’t mention Annemarie by name. However, after Dr. Terry made a statement that made it clear he believed what Annemarie did was wrong, he mentioned her by name.
As a part of E! News article about Dr. Terry’s comments, they stated that the Botched star agreed with fans who called Annemarie out for her statements about Sutton.
Dr. Terry Dubrow has starred in Botched since 2014, alongside his co-star, Dr. Paul Nassif. A plastic surgeon, Dr. Terry is shown helping patients who’ve had plastic surgery gone awry before seeing him.
That same article included another quote from Dr. Terry about Annemarie’s statements about Sutton’s medical situation. Dr. Terry told the outlet that he believed that Annemarie wouldn’t make the same mistake again. Furthermore, Dr. Terry stated that he believed that Annemarie learned from her mistakes.
“I think if you were to ask Annemarie now if she could go back in time, whether she’d opine in the same way she did previously, I doubt it. I think she probably learned a little bit of a lesson from that.”
Even though Dr. Terry was very obviously critical of Annemarie’s treatment of Sutton, he also showed her some kindness.
During his same E! News interview, Dr. Terry showed empathy to Annemarie by speaking about how hard becoming a Real Housewives star would be.
“She’s a first-season Housewife and those are very difficult waters to navigate. It takes a few seasons to figure out how to get along with everybody under those pressure situations.”
As Real Housewives fans will likely already know, Sutton was struggling to eat because of a medical issue with her esophagus. In fact, Sutton stated that her medical issue was so severe that she struggled to even swallow her own saliva.
In response, Annemarie made a series of statements that made it seem clear she thought Sutton was lying about her medical claims. In fact, a YouTube montage of clips from RHOBH seemingly shows highlights of Annemarie ranting about Sutton’s medical claims over a period of two hours.
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Nurse Annemarie Wiley Publicly Apologized
After The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans saw the Annemarie Wiley and Sutton Stracke’s medical drama, many picked a side. Among many fans, there was outrage at Annemarie for how she treated Sutton and her medical issues.
On January 20th, 2024, Annemarie posted on Instagram about the drama she was in at that time. As a part of that post, Annemarie apologized for her comments about Sutton’s medical problem.
“The esophagus storyline was not funny. Watching the show back now, I hate that storyline just as much as everyone else. I would be mad at me too. It was a line of questioning I should have never started — and for that I sincerely apologize.”
After apologizing, Annemarie claimed that viewers had been misled about how she responded to Sutton’s medical claims. While Annemarie admitted to and apologized for questioning Suttton, she claimed that the drama between her and Sutton was a lot more short-lived than the show made it seem.
“That storyline was inauthentically dragged on for far too long, and I have been dragged through the mud in the process… I just want to highlight the ‘Real’ in Reality TV.”
After all the drama and that post, Annemarie was fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as a March 2024 People article revealed. Days after that, Sutton expressed empathy for Annemarie during a SiriusXM interview that can partially be seen in a YouTube clip. That said, Sutton also made some jokes about the situation.
