Brandi Glanville suggested that PK Kemsley’s texts to Kyle Richards were “calculated” as he allegedly wanted “Dorit [Kemsley] off the show.” The alum also hinted that Kyle is “jealous” of Dorit for taking her “storyline.”

On the new season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, castmates discovered that PK and Kyle texted each other amid their respective separations. PK moved out of his shared home with Dorit last year, not long after Kyle separated from PK’s friend Mauricio Umansky. Recently, according to Dorit, PK sent an email threatening to divorce her.

“I thought that PK and Kyle being in communication was calculated on PK’s part,” said former castmate Brandi on her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, “because he wanted probably Dorit off the show … so she didn’t have this platform.”

She also speculated that PK probably doesn’t want Dorit to have an income right now.

“I’m sure there’s … things that he doesn’t want out there,” she went on. “So I think he wants to take [this] platform away from Dorit, as much as Kyle might want her gone as well.”

“I think that Kyle is probably jealous in this moment that Dorit is kind of stepping on her toes,” Brandi continued. “It’s Kyle’s turn to be the victim in Kyle’s mind, I think, because you know, her husband of 30 years is divorcing her. And then here comes Dorit with these two young children, ‘Oh wait, I’m getting divorced too!’ And [Kyle’s] like, ‘That was my storyline!’”

On a past episode of the RHOBH: After Show, Dorit addressed a painful moment when her son Jagger asked about the separation.

“We were walking the dogs one night and he said, ‘Mommy, are you and Daddy divorced?’” shared Dorit. “And I said, ‘No.’ [And then] I said, ‘You know, Jagger, sometimes two people need some time apart even though they love each other very much, and most importantly, Daddy and I love you and your sister more than anything in this world and nothing will change.’”

“So after that, the follow-up question was, ‘Okay, but you will tell me if you were divorced?’ And I said to Jagger, ‘I would tell you way before Daddy and I divorced.’ So that was enough for him,” she added. “If I’m being totally honest, I think, all these months later, as long as they see PK and I okay together … that’s truly what would make things easier for them.”
