Did Bravo deliver a subtle dig at Scheana Shay in its latest trailer for the much-anticipated 12th season of “Vanderpump Rules”? Fans seem to think so.

After the teaser was unveiled, TikTok user Tori Leigh highlighted an apparent omission. The preview showcased memorable quotes from past and present cast members like Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Brittany Cartwright, Lala Kent, and Ariana Madix. Yet, noticeably absent was any quote from Scheana Shay.

“Did anyone else catch that in the new ‘Vanderpump Rules’ trailer, each of the other women got a quote?” Tori asked in her TikTok video. “We hear from Stassi, Kristen, Brittany, Lala, Ariana, and even Lisa Vanderpump gives her monologue. But Scheana? She’s not quoted at all.”

As Tori’s observation gained traction, fans speculated on the omission. Some theorized that Scheana’s silhouette was subtly included during Lisa Vanderpump’s remark about SUR being “where you meet your mistress.”

Following the sharing of the post, a number of fans weighed in, one of whom suspected that Scheana’s silhouette was featured as Lisa spoke of SUR being “where you meet your mistress.”

Although one person pointed out that if it weren’t for Scheana, “there wouldn’t be” a Pump Rules, others signaled to her feud with Lisa, 65.

“Didn’t Scheana bad mouth Lisa in her book? I wonder if that’s why,” one person wrote.

“She burned her bridge with Lisa,” another agreed.

Others pointed out that Katie Maloney, 38, was also left out, as were the men of the series.

In addition to shading Lisa’s Vanderpump Villa as a “flop” during an interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, Scheana accused her former boss of using her “real-life pain to launch her TV empire” while chatting with Us Weekly.

“She gaslit me about it for a decade instead of just coming to me in the beginning. That’s the thing with Lisa: She doesn’t make mistakes. She makes moves and then calls them coincidences,” Scheana shared, giving a nod to the way Lisa brought her together with Brandi Glanville, 52, for a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills scene before claiming she was unaware of the highly-publicized affair she had with Brandi’s former husband, Eddie Cibrian, 52. 

Scheana also said Lisa, whom she worked for at SUR for many years, was no real friend and only called her when she “needs something.”

“I literally have a trauma response when she calls me,” Scheana revealed on Scheananigans. “It’s always something. It was [always,] like, what I did wrong or what could I do for her.”

Vanderpump Rules season 12 premieres on Tuesday, December 2, at 9/8c.
