Jeremiah Raber, known for his role in “Breaking Amish,” found himself in a dire medical situation as he was airlifted to a hospital due to critically high blood sugar levels and the possibility of liver failure.

Raber took to TikTok on Tuesday to update his followers about his alarming condition, mentioning that he was “waiting to be life flighted to another hospital.” Alongside his message, he shared a selfie from his hospital bed, revealing the gravity of his situation.

His blood sugar level was alarmingly high at “993,” a stark contrast to the Cleveland Clinic’s guidelines, which state that a normal fasting blood sugar level is below 100, and a reading of 126 or higher could be indicative of diabetes.

In another TikTok post shared on the same day, the 45-year-old reality star documented his transport to the helicopter, lying on a stretcher. He also posted a video selfie from his hospital bed, providing further insight into his condition.

He also posted another selfie video from a hospital bed.

Then, in an update on Saturday, Raber thanked his followers for their prayers and wrote, “I’m doing good and will be out tomorrow!”

“Stay positive, let the haters hate and live your life to the fullest! Get some rest,” one fan wrote, while another replied: “Sending healing energy.”

A third person wrote, “Take care of yourself! Heal before you [stress] about anything! Care for you because nobody else can. Know what I mean? Stay healthy. Please!”

Raber’s latest health issue comes more than a year after he spent two days in the hospital for heart issues and diabetic ketoacidosis, according to InTouch Weekly.

Diabetic ketoacidosis is a “a life-threatening complication of diabetes and undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes,” according to the Cleveland Clinic.

Raber was one of the breakout stars of TLC’s “Breaking Amish” when it premiered in 2012. The docuseries followed young Amish and Mennonite adults as they left their traditional and insular culture to experience the modern world for the first time.

Following his exit from the show, Raber returned to the franchise for 2014’s “Return to Amish.” He remained a part of the cast for seven seasons.
