As the world ushered in a new year, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia found herself raising a glass in Florida, unaware of the buzz surrounding her former flame, Zach Bryan. Entering 2023 with revelry, the Barstool Media star shared snippets of her evening on Instagram Stories, showcasing carefree moments with friends at a local bar.
While LaPaglia relished the festive atmosphere of the Sunshine State, across the Atlantic, her ex-boyfriend was reveling in a different kind of celebration. Zach Bryan, the country music artist, had just exchanged vows with Samantha Leonard in the picturesque locale of San Sebastian, Spain.
Speculation about the wedding began midweek after a video surfaced featuring the newlyweds driving off in a convertible adorned with a “Just Married” sign. The whispers were soon confirmed when Bryan, 29, shared glimpses of the intimate ceremony, offering fans an inside look at the surprise nuptials with Leonard, 28.
Reports surfaced Wednesday night that Bryan, 29, and Leonard, 28, had tied the knot after a video showed them getting into a convertible that had a banner on the back reading, “Just Married.”
The country musician later confirmed the wedding news with an inside look at their shocking nuptials.
Bryan shared a post of himself holding his new wife, who stunned in a white strapless gown with a feather-trimmed hem.
It’s unclear exactly when the couple wed, but on Tuesday, Bryan shared a picture of himself and his male friends dressed in formalwear.
The newlyweds were first linked in July 2025, when she posted him on her Instagram attending Spain’s Running of the Bulls.
Bryan’s new marriage comes less than a year after he and LaPaglia, 26, ended their one-year relationship.
The “Something in the Orange” singer announced their breakup via Instagram in October 2024 with a cryptic message that made it seem like he and LaPaglia ended amicably.
But two weeks later, the internet personality took to social media and accused the Grammy winner of emotional abuse throughout their relationship.
“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude,” she alleged. “I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him.”
She also claimed Bryan offered her $12 million if she signed a non-disclosure agreement swearing not to talk about their relationship or breakup.
“They would’ve been monitoring everything that I do,” she explained in a November 2024 episode of her “BFFs” podcast.
“I thought about it for a second and I think they tend to forget, I started to forget, that I was someone, I was established, I was successful, before [Bryan].”
When Bryan started dating Leonard shortly after his and LaPaglia’s split, many fans were quick to point out that the Spanish native looks similar to the podcast host.
