This Morning’s Sian Welby looked sensational as she cradled her barely there baby bump at the BRIT Awards in an all-red outfit. She accessorised her strapless crimson dress with some equally bright and eye-catching red tights and gloves.

Her strappy shoes were almost invisible as they matched the colour of her tights so perfectly, while she clutched what appeared to be a signature Lulu McGuinness purse in the shape of a pair of lips. The radiant 37-year-old, who also hosts the Capital Breakfast Show, recently announced she was expecting a baby with her radio producer fiancé Jake Beckett.

She spilled the beans live on air on Tuesday, in front of Chris Stark and tonight’s BRITs co-host Roman Kemp, who’d recently reflected on his own plans to have a baby and admitted he wanted to retire “young”. When she confided that she was expecting, he yelled: “Oh my God! Shut up!”

Sian replied: “I don’t know how I’ve managed to keep it from you for so long, but I am. It’s not a joke. “Oh my God. The lies, the deceit. The mocktails. The stress I’ve gone through trying to pretend not to be drinking!”

She even confessed to her open-mouthed co-star that she’d ordered an alcoholic cocktail in front of him, only to cunningly switch the orders around when he wasn’t looking. “You remember when I ordered the same cocktail as you? I ran downstairs and intercepted the order and went ‘Can you make one of them a virgin mojito?’” she divulged.

“It’s crazy to actually finally tell you all. I couldn’t wait,” the relieved radio host continued.

Meanwhile, a proud Roman declared his wish to be a “godfather” to the little one, whose gender has not yet been announced.

Sian recently had a disappointment after learning that, despite standing in as a This Morning host, she wouldn’t be a full-time replacement for Holly Willoughby.

The new permanent duo of Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard was announced last month, ending a spell of regularly rotating hosts.

However, Sian is still able to boast some impressive career achievements, while later this year she will become a first-time mum.

Alongside her, Capital Breakfast Show co-host Roman seemed to be having a great time on the red carpet too.

He had an impromptu kiss with Kylie Minogue for a kisscam, when she playfully pushed her hand in front of his mouth before giving him a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it peck.

Although some fans “cringed”, Roman, who grinned sheepishly afterwards and admitted he was “still a bit sweaty”, seemed to enjoy the experience.
