Brittany Cartwright recently opened up about her experience using a GLP-1 weight loss medication.
At 37, Cartwright revealed her transformative journey over the past four months in an Instagram post promoting the online weight loss program Join Fridays. “I’ve already dropped two dress sizes,” she proudly stated in the video shared on Monday, July 20, alongside a side-by-side comparison photo highlighting her progress. “Though I faced numerous body-shaming comments, instead of getting upset, they actually fueled my motivation.”
She further explained, saying, “It’s no secret I was using GLP-1s, just like many were turning to Fridays. I worried about the potential of not seeing results, and what my next step would be if it didn’t work. But I persevered! I stayed committed, and by the third month, I noticed the weight starting to shed significantly.”
Celebrating her achievement, Cartwright exuberantly shared that she feels “incredible.”
“During my time in the dressing room at the [Valley] reunion, I couldn’t help but feel vibrant and sparked with energy, finally beginning to feel like myself once more,” she enthusiastically expressed.

“I finally got my sparkle back! I’m already down two dress sizes, and summer is just getting started!” Cartwright captioned the post. “Everyone I knew was having success with GLP-1s, and they were all getting results with @joinfridays. I figured it was time to start, and I’m so glad I did. If you’ve been wanting to get your sparkle back too… maybe it’s time to give it a shot. Commit to 3 months and your 4th is free — FOREVER.”
Cartwright added in the comments section, “For anyone wondering, I’ve lost 20 lbs since my mommy makeover that happened in October. I started with Fridays long after my surgery, so the weight loss happened afterward.” She continued, “Mommy makeover boosted my confidence and losing weight has made me feel amazing and so much more confident. They are 2 different things. ❤️.”
Cartwright previously opened up to Us about her new look in April, noting that her “mommy makeover” — which included new breast implants and a tummy tuck — was “something [she’s] been wanting to do for a very long time.” (The reality star welcomed son Cruz in 2021.)
“It just felt right. So, I finally pulled the trigger and got it done, and I just feel so much better,” she told Us. “Especially being single, I just really wanted to do it. I wanted to feel good naked — and I look awesome naked by the way.”
