The topic of plastic surgery and cosmetic enhancements has transitioned from being a hushed conversation to a mainstream topic, thanks in part to the candid discussions celebrities and everyday people engage in on platforms like Instagram. However, this openness sometimes leads to misunderstandings, especially when assumptions are made without basis.
Recently, Brittany Snow found herself at the center of such a misunderstanding. The actress became the subject of speculation after Molly Bailey, the founder of Biobeauty, posted a before-and-after video of Snow on Instagram. Bailey suggested that the “Hunting Wives” star had undergone cosmetic procedures, including injectables, fillers, and more than just Botox, to refine her appearance.
While many might shrug off such rumors, Snow chose to address the situation head-on. Despite the growing acceptance of cosmetic procedures, Snow felt it was important to clarify her stance, particularly as she had nothing to hide. In a poised response, she took to the comments section to correct the narrative, emphasizing her natural appearance.
“I’ve never had any surgery,” Snow, who is 39, declared, dispelling the unfounded claims without disparaging those who opt for aesthetic enhancements.
“I’ve never had any surgery,” the 39-year-old replied.
“Not one. No nose job, (people have told me I needed one! But no) no eyelids, no facelift. Nothing,” Snow clarified last Thursday. “I lost baby weight in my face, minimal Botox and lasers. Just for the record.”
The “Pitch Perfect” star began her career in Hollywood over three decades ago as a child actor. She then became famous as a soap opera star on “Guiding Light” and “American Dreams” before transitioning to film with early-aughts hits like “John Tucker Must Die” and “Hairspray.”
Snow, who also stars in “The Beast in Me” on Netflix, is having a stellar year. Following her split from her ex-husband, real estate agent Tyler Stanaland, in 2022, the actress is newly engaged to music video director Hunter Moreno.
Her co-stars, Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys, were spotted congratulating the star on her engagement at the premiere of “The Beast in Me” in early November.
Later that month, Snow was back on set filming Season 2 of her steamy Netflix hit series, “The Hunting Wives,” alongside castmates Malin Akerman and Jaime Ray Newman.
With all of that streaming money in the bank, this Florida-born beauty could have more than her fair share of Botox and plenty of nips and tucks if she wanted.
But for now, she seems to be happy to go au naturel.
And to that, we say: Let it Snow!
