Brooke Hogan speaks out after being left out of dad Hulk Hogan’s $5M will: ‘No surprise to me’

Brooke Hogan has no regrets when it comes to being left out of her late father Hulk Hogan’s $5 million will.

After details of the wrestling legend’s will became public — with her brother, Nick Hogan, being listed as the sole beneficiary of Hulk’s estate while Hulk’s now widow, Sky Daily, is listed as a surviving spouse — Brooke told TMZ that this is what she wanted.

“His decision is no surprise to me,” she told the outlet Thursday. “It’s what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets.”

“My dad knows I’m a hard worker and I have been surviving without his money for a long, long time,” she added.

Brooke, 37, also told the outlet that money never mattered when it came to her relationship with her dad, and that she knew from personal experience that money doesn’t buy happiness.

Hulk left behind nearly $5 million in assets after his death, including $200,000 in cryptocurrency, $799,000 in personal property and intellectual property, his right to publicity (worth $4 million) and an unknown value for a potential medical malpractice lawsuit, Us Weekly reported.

TMZ reported last month that Daily plans to file a medical malpractice lawsuit against the surgeon who operated on her late husband’s neck in May.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ Sports that an occupational therapist who was with Hulk when he died in July alleged the surgeon had “severed” the athlete’s phrenic nerve during a recent operation.

The allegation was reportedly included in the police report regarding the cops’ 911 response to Hulk’s Florida home.

Last month, Brooke went on TMZ Live and stressed that she was not looking to get any money after her dad’s death and was just fine not being in his will.

“I just know how my family is,” she explained. “And I’ve seen how certain members of my family go after money. And I see how they fight over money, and how they turn on each other over money. And I said, if and when my dad dies, this is going to be — pardon my French — a s—t show. And I want no part of it.”

Brooke again insisted that she never relied on Hulk financially.

“I have my own job, my husband has a job, we do not have any money coming in from my father since I was 18 years old,” she said. “Everybody else relied on him for a paycheck, and now that golden goose is gone.”

Hulk died from acute myocardial infarction — commonly known as a heart attack — which is when blood flow to the heart muscle is suddenly blocked, causing tissue damage, per the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center.

He was 71 years old.
