Bunnie Xo Removes Podcast Episode Detailing Split from Jelly Roll: Here’s Why

Bunnie Xo is reconsidering her decision to share the intimate details of her marriage breakup publicly.

In the episode of her podcast “Dumb Blonde” that aired on Friday, July 10, Bunnie, 46, detailed the reasons behind her decision to remove a previous episode. During that episode, she had spoken openly about the end of her 10-year marriage with Jelly Roll, 41.

“I decided to remove it because I realized I didn’t want one of the most challenging times of my life to be a lasting headline,” she revealed during the recent podcast discussion.

She added, “I don’t want to dwell in that space. However, I do believe people deserve the opportunity to heal, transform, and move on.”

Bunnie Xo Slams 'Completely False' Jelly Roll Split Rumors, Jokes About Leaving '10-Year' Prison Bid

Addressing the rumors surrounding her divorce from Jelly Roll, Bunnie Xo aimed to clarify the situation. “There’s a narrative online suggesting that I was embarrassing Jelly, which supposedly led to the divorce. People have said, ‘She’s detrimental to his public image,’” Bunnie, 46, explained in the Friday, June 26, episode of “Dumb Blonde.” […]

Bunnie admitted she was worried about the split being the main thing she is known for.

“But also, if I’m being real, I don’t want the divorce to become my entire personality. I don’t want to be the poster child for divorce,” she said.

While Bunnie has no intentions of keeping the podcast online in perpetuity, she has no regrets about sharing it in the first place.

“That episode served a purpose for me at that time, and it was real, it was honest, and it came from exactly where I was emotionally in that moment. But I’m not in that same place anymore,” she admitted.

Bunnie added that she thought people weren’t seeing the full picture of how she navigated her relationship breakdown “behind the scenes,” leading them to make inaccurate assumptions.

“I think that that’s where we need to pause and just kind of focus on the fact that people are like, ‘Oh, well, she moved on so fast.’ And it’s like, hold up. I’ve been mourning the loss of my marriage for at least a year. I had visions of the news breaking, of it happening,” Bunnie said.

She explained that there were moments that she “was on the floor screaming, crying.”  Bunnie added that there were times that she “couldn’t even stand up because I was so f**ing devastated.”

While Bunnie had to deal with her personal life making headlines and strangers weighing in on her situation, the episode was lucrative. It became one of her most viewed episodes, earning her $100,000 in the process.

“But I don’t care about the money. If I cared about the money, I would’ve left it up and let it get another f***ing 100 grand,” she insisted.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo Divorce Docs

Jelly Roll is sharing his side of the story after filing for divorce from wife Bunnie Xo. The pair do not share any children. […]

In the podcast episode about the split, which dropped on June 18, Bunnie opened up about why they separated as well as shooting down speculation the marriage ended due to infidelity.

“On Mother’s Day, we had a little bit of an argument, which I don’t think the details are necessary,” she explained. “And, in that argument, I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and said, ‘Well, then file the f***ing divorce papers.’”

After the podcast was released, Jelly Roll broke his silence on the break-up by publicly addressing the audience on stage at the Saratoga Springs, NY, leg of his tour.

“Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends. We just got off the phone earlier today,” he said. “Nobody cheated on nobody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth.”

Jelly Roll quietly filed for divorce from Bunnie in Tennessee on May 18, Us Weekly confirmed on June 15.
