Congratulations are in order for Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden!

The pair surprised fans Friday night by announcing they recently welcomed their second child, a son named Cardinal.

“We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden❤️🙏He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here!” they began in their joint Instagram post.

“For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s a really cute.”

They continued, “We are feeling so blessed and grateful 🍀Sending much love from our fam to yours 🙏❤️Best wishes and Good Afternoon!! 🤘⚡️.”

Diaz, 51, and the Good Charlotte rocker, 45, did not previously reveal they were expecting a child. They were last seen together in January enjoying some time on the slopes in Aspen, Colo.

The pair, who tied the knot in 2015, surprised fans in January 2020 when they announced they welcomed a baby girl named Raddix via surrogate.

“We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden,” their Instagram post read.

“She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family.”

They also let fans know they would not be sharing photos of their daughter to respect her privacy.

Although they kept their second pregnancy under wraps, it’s no surprise they welcomed a new addition to their young family.

“Cameron and Benji have discussed having another child and have even been looking into surrogate options for a while now,” an insider told Us Weekly in July 2022.

“Benji always wanted a big family, and Cameron didn’t need to be persuaded after the arrival of their daughter.”

While they prefer to keep their home life private, the “Charlie’s Angels” star opened up about her first experiences of motherhood in April 2020.

“After we do bath time with our baby and we put her to sleep, Benji puts her to bed, he’s so good,” she told her pal Katherine Power on Instagram Live.

“He’s such an amazing father. I’m so lucky he’s my baby’s father.”

She continued, “He puts her down and I go into the kitchen and I pour myself a nice glass of red wine. I start my cooking, I put on my show, whatever it is.”

She also confessed she feels challenged by her daughter when she’s acting up during a May 2022 appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

“They’re not actively trying to be bad,” she explained.

“My job is to just help her find the words to her emotions, her experience, what she’s going through, and be able to help her identify that and then move through it.”

Diaz and Madden’s son arrived as the actress prepares to release “Back in Action,” her first movie since 2014’s “Annie.”
