Cameron Diaz, 50, could be set to retire soon as sources claimed she “has nothing left to prove” in the movie industry following her hugely successful career.
The Charlie’s Angels actress is currently working alongside Glenn Close and Jamie Foxx – who was hospitalised last month after suffering medical complications.
But a recent Page Six report claimed Diaz is no longer “back in action” and she “will reportedly retire from her acting career for good” after her upcoming Netflix project is released.
According to the site, she wants to spend more time with her husband, Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden, and their daughter, Raddix.
“These back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been a lot on her and she hates being away from Raddix,” a source close to Diaz told the Daily Mail today.

“Cameron loves being a mom more than anything in the world.”
Husband Madden is said to still be supportive of her career, but her time working has apparently “been a lot on him.”

“Although she has gotten to see her family while shooting the film, it is just not the same,” the insider claimed.
Diaz, 50, and Madden, 44, got married in 2015 and welcomed daughter Raddix in 2019.
The year before Raddix was born, Diaz announced she had retired from acting, but more recently surprised fans by joining the cast of Back In Action.
The claims come after Diaz’ co-star, Jamie Foxx, was rushed to hospital last month for a medical emergency – with family asking for fans’ prayers to help him through.
The Spider-Man: No Way Home star, 55, suffered a “serious medical complication” in Atlanta, Georgia on April 11, but the family have chosen not to disclose what exactly happened to the star.
Close friend Charles Alston posted an update on Instagram last week asking for prayers as the star continues to recover.
“We need you back Bro,” the message read. “As I always state a true champion isn’t the one that wins, it’s the one that meets & overcomes adversity!! You’re test becomes your testimony!!
“We all can’t wait to receive you back home to celebrate, laugh with and applaud you!!”
