The Real Housewives of New Jersey is easily one of the most talked-about reality television shows in recent months. This is the case because people are wondering about the network’s plans for the long-running series. Now, Gia Giudice is sharing her two cents about next steps for RHONJ and why she doesn’t see Teresa Giudice going anywhere. Plus, she addressed the desire fans have for her mother to patch things up with Melissa Gorga for the sake of filming.

As everyone knows, before season 14 of RHONJ aired, Andy Cohen made no secret of the fact that Melissa and Teresa steered clear of one another. Sadly, this led to a highly divided season that ended with a watch party instead of a traditional reunion. Now, fans have no idea when the show will return or who will fill out the cast. 

Recently, Gia had a short interview with Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap while on a red carpet. They discussed several things, including her upcoming reality series, and RHONJ also came up. When asked about its future, she said, “I truly don’t think the OG is going anywhere.”

“That is just my opinion. I’m a little biased — it is my mom, but she’s a legend. She’s an icon. She’s brought the show to what it is today, and Jersey will always be her home,” Gia continued.

The interviewer then asked Gia about the possibility of Teresa and Melissa fixing their issues for the show to move forward. “For the aspect of just filming, it’s pointless. It’s so much deeper than that, and I think that’s what the fans don’t understand,” Gia responded.

She then said, “There’s so much turmoil and hurt, and it’s just been so long. I think it’s safe to say both parties are over it, and what the fans need to understand is that this is our real life. We don’t wanna fake it anymore. We’re really over it, and it’s just that there was too much toxicity. It kind of is just let bygones be bygones.”

Gia added, “If Bravo wants to bring them both back, they need to understand that there probably won’t be a relationship.”

In other Gia news, she recently started a new podcast, and one of the topics she discussed in the first episode was her living arrangement. Notably, Gia has been open about the fact that she still lives with her mother. 

Regarding potentially moving out, the Casual Chaos host said, via PEOPLE, “I don’t have an urgency to move out right now. I mean, I have everything I need at home.” She added, “I know people that stay home until they get married. I make my own money, I do my own thing, but I just don’t see the urgency to move out.”

As fans know, Gia is currently dating  Christian Carmichael, and she may be willing to move out of Teresa’s lavish home for him. According to Gia, “The only reason why I want to move out is to move in with Christian. So, when we’re both ready, that’s going to happen.”

Still, she insisted she has everything she needs at the moment. “I get amazing meals cooked by my mom. I love my Bella and just being home with my family. I honestly love it. Christian loves it too. He’s one of four brothers. I’m one of four sisters, so we have very similar home dynamics where it’s fun being around your siblings and your family,” Gia said.

She added, “As much as I’m living at home, I also do my own thing all the time. I’m in and out of the city.”
