Candace Cameron Bure is offering a glimpse into her routine of fitness and nutrition.
“Staying consistent with my weight training,” Bure wrote in a caption accompanying a video on her Instagram Story on Friday, November 14, where she outlined her exercise regimen. The video features the actress engaging in weightlifting, focusing on her breathing technique.
“Monitoring my progress and increasing weights as I gain strength. Currently using 25 lb dumbbells for shoulder presses,” she explained in the caption. “Sometimes 30 lbs. Three sets. This is just one shoulder exercise. I dedicate a day to shoulders, legs, and biceps. Another day for chest, back, and triceps. Cardio and fine-tuning are reserved for another day, all on a weekly rotation.”
In another Instagram Story, Bure also shared a peek into her daily dietary habits.
“My eating plan has been tough the last two months,” she wrote over a photo of a bowl of chili. “I’ve been traveling so much, so most meals on the road from restaurants. When choosing I’m looking for warm plates with an animal protein like chicken, steak or salmon with veggies and sweet potato. Or a salad with similar ingredients. Or anything with eggs (just because I love them!) Natasha made this bean and beef chili that was so yummy. The cottage cheese on top was delicious.”
The Full House alum has been forthcoming when it comes to the routines that keep her healthy and grounded. She’s also been candid when it comes to how she feels when people on the internet comment on her body.

“I do feel confident and secure in who I am, however, I feel like there’s still always a pressure [to look a certain way],” Bure exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. “If my husband loves me and tells me I look great, then that’s all that matters.”
The actress also reflected on a decision she made this September when she took down a swimsuit photo from her Instagram. “I don’t need for people to pick apart my body. I’m like, ‘That’s fine, you couldn’t have an opinion. I’m just going to take it away so you don’t get to say what you want about that part of my life.’ And that’s fine,” she explained.
“People are always going to have an opinion, and sometimes you forget that for a moment because you’re like, ‘Hey, happy moment. Gonna share something,’” Cameron Bure added in the same interview. “And then you’re like, ‘Oh, why did I share it?’”

Ultimately, she “felt like it was easier to take it down, because I don’t need to have controversy over it.”
Also in September, she shared another series of workout secrets after a commenter pointed out that she was looking “extra toned these days.”
“I’ve increased my weight lifting program. Heavy weights 4x a week, fine tuning and cardio 2x a week. I train with my hubby (love our gym time together) and still use @kirastokesfit app and FT training with Kira!” Candace wrote, a reference to her athletic coach, Kira Stokes. “She also has ‘gym time’ on the app where you can follow a heavier weighted program there.”
She added, “I’ve been super consistent the past year and finally seeing the changes I’ve desired.”
