Cardi B candidly admitted to some questionable hair hygiene practices in a vividly detailed video on social media.

In a recent Instagram Live session, the chart-topping “Bodak Yellow” artist appeared in what seemed to be a wig cap and revealed that she hasn’t washed her hair in quite some time.

“I haven’t washed my hair in like two months,” she confessed to her audience, a declaration that was later circulated on X. She continued with a laugh, “Actually, I’m probably exaggerating; it’s more like three months—I honestly don’t even know.”

Joking about the potential consequences of her negligence, she quipped, “I probably have all sorts of roach eggs, mosquito eggs, everything up in here,” while gesturing to her head.

During the video, the 33-year-old rapper also discussed her future hair care plans, hinting at a change in routine.

“I gotta oil down my scalp because tomorrow I’m going to do my real hair,” she divulged. “I’m going to wash it, and then around Wednesday I’m going to braid it.”

Some netizens on X were horrified by the graphic admission. “Ima throw up for real,” one person wrote, while another added, “imagine the smell.”

Others took the “WAP” hitmaker’s so-called admission with a grain of salt.

“Yall believe anything and run with it,” one commenter remarked, while another chimed in, “Idk what’s funnier her making fun of her self or ya believing this is true lmao.”

Still others had different questions. “Okay but who asked, Cardi?” a follower queried, while another wrote, “I wash my hair a couple of times a week. Don’t u get itchy in the hair if u don’t do that?”

The pregnant songstress — who is currently expecting her fourth child, her first with Stefon Diggs — isn’t the first celebrity to raise eyebrows with questionable hygiene habits.

“I use soap, but I don’t wash my hair. I wash it every two months,” talk show host James Corden said on a 2022 episode of “The Late Late Show,” adding, “That is a true story.”

Jake Gyllenhaal admitted in 2021 that he doesn’t think bathing regularly is “necessary.”

“More and more I find bathing to be less necessary, at times,” the “Brokeback Mountain” star said at the time.

Also in 2021, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard shared that they wait for their daughters Lincoln and Delta to “stink” before bathing them, after Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher revealed they only gave kids Wyatt and Dimitri baths as infants when they could “see the dirt on them.”

Ironically, Cardi B took to Twitter at the time to express dismay with the apparent aversion to bathing. “Wassup with people saying they don’t shower? It’s giving itchy,” the rapper tweeted via X.
