Cardi B used fashion to make a statement during her candid “Call Her Daddy” interview on Wednesday.

The pregnant rapper paired her boyfriend Stefon Diggs’ New England Patriots jersey with a plaid skirt, statement pearls by Vivienne Westwood and black-rimmed eyeglasses.

“I wanted to do a jersey, but I wanted to do my style,” she said when host Alex Cooper asked about the look.

“And I was like, well… I wanted to show my man, but he’s asleep by this time. He goes to sleep early,” she explained.

During the tell-all interview, Cardi, 32, gave insight into her relationship with the wide receiver and father of her unborn child, who inspired her sporty outfit.

She and the NFL player, 31, sparked romance rumors last year and were photographed together in February before making their relationship public with a PDA-packed appearance at an NBA game in May.

“I could feel the vibe that he liked me, but he, like, never approached me,” she said, recounting how respectful he was from the beginning.

The singer explained how they grew closer after having many phone calls and it quickly became clear that he was someone that she wanted in her life.

“And then we had really good conversations and it got to the point that it was like, damn, we talked for hours, and six hours, and seven hours and it’s like there were days that it’s like even when we wasn’t talking I was like I need to talk to this person cuz I’m talking to this person every day.”

Last week, after expertly hiding her pregnancy for months with strategic styling choices, the rapper announced that she and Diggs are expecting.

“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” she revealed to Gayle King on “CBS Mornings” at the time. “I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

Days later, she showed off her baby bump in lace and layers of pearls at her Apple Music album launch event for “Am I The Drama?,” turning heads in a daring sheer black lace catsuit with an exterior pearl bra featuring cascading strands draped across her body.

The “Bodak Yellow” artist accessorized the provocative look with black high-heeled boots, a pearl choker, and voluminous platinum blond waves that channeled old Hollywood glamour.

To her credit, the Grammy winner has never let pregnancy hinder her personal style. She wowed fans with several glamorous and sultry looks throughout her first three pregnancies with estranged husband Offset.

The “WAP” rapper also has no plans to pause her highly successful music career. She is set to go on tour in February, but noted that her due date is before she hits the road.
