Cardi B has once again delivered a fashion moment guaranteed to command attention.
The “Ah Ha” rapper, 33, attended Gucci’s spring 2027 presentation at Milan Fashion Week on Friday, taking her place in the front row with a sharply cropped wig and unmistakable blunt bowl-cut bangs.
The Louise Brooks-inspired hairstyle narrowed into pointed sides, drawing attention to her Gucci “GG” monogram earrings, priced at $430.
She turned up the theatrics with an oversized white fur coat dusted with silver. The dramatic runway look debuted during Gucci’s cruise 2027 show, staged by creative director Demna in New York’s Times Square in May, and is not yet available in stores. Cardi styled the coat with sheer “GG” tights costing $300 and a black lace bodysuit, skipping pants altogether.
Her statement outerwear blended seamlessly with the runway’s procession of voluminous shearling coats. Designed to resemble a Gucci boutique, the set featured mirrors where models stopped to pose and admire their reflections.
The casting also included several Victoria’s Secret veterans, among them Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Elsa Hosk and Candice Swanepoel.
“Gucci stands for being rooted in the desire to belong to a more glamorous world, and in the audacity to remake that world in your own image,” Demna wrote in the show notes, describing the collection as his first fully realized vision for the house. “Gucci is about luxury that wants to be seen.”
The Milan appearance was only the latest headline-making fashion stop for Cardi. Earlier in the week, she walked in Vogue World: Milano wearing a neon Versace dress before making a dramatic entrance at Roberto Cavalli in an animal-print robe with fur trim and a corseted waist.
“If there was ever an outfit that screamed LIBRA QUEEN… this is the one! Thank you @faustopuglisi and @roberto_cavalli for this amazing custom piece! Such a nasty, rich libra aura!! and that show.. bellisimo!❤️🤍💚,” she wrote on Instagram, referencing her upcoming Oct. 11 birthday.
The star’s latest cropped style is also one she has explored before, albeit in a much more low-key setting. In December 2023, Cardi wore a similar bowl-cut pixie while shopping along Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
