DeAnna Pappas

DeAnna Pappas was arrested on a misdemeanor charge on February 27, 2025, after getting into an alleged physical altercation with ex-husband Stephen Stagliano, In Touch exclusively reported.

She was released hours later after posting a $20,000 bond.

“On Wednesday, February 26, at 7:38 a.m., I went to DeAnna’s house to help get Austin to school. I very clearly smelled alcohol on DeAnna’s breath. I put Austin in the car and left,” Stephen’s mother, Lynn Stagliano, wrote in a court declaration.

“Stephen told me I needed to walk closer to him because he wanted to smell my breath to make sure that I was not drunk. I had not consumed any alcohol. I ignored Stephen’s comment, and I walked back into the garage,” DeAnna claimed, according to court documents obtained by In Touch.

She claimed Stephen “took his hands, grabbing me, and then forcefully shoved me” during the alleged altercation.

The former couple, who shares kids Addison and Austin, following their June 2024 divorce settlement.

DeAnna, who filed a restraining order against Stephen on March 7, 2025, denied the accusations in opposition, stating, “The basis of [Stephen’s] is based on his fabrication that I am an alcoholic. This is wholly false and fabricated as way for [Stephen] to gain leverage in his attempt to alienate the children from me.”

On March 11, 2025, In Touch reported exclusive screenshots from a video of the alleged incident. In the clip, Stephen was seen outside the season 4 Bachelorette’s garage while she was inside the building.

DeAnna had a court date set for March 27, 2025, and she dropped her request to file a restraining order against Stephen, and the case was dismissed.

On April 3, 2025, DeAnna shared via Instagram Stories that no charges were filed against her following her arrest.

“On behalf of our client, Deanna Pappas, we wish to address recent public speculation and clarify the current legal status of matters stemming from an incident involving her former spouse,” the statement read. “After a full investigation and review of video evidence, the assigned detective determined that Ms. Pappas was not the aggressor. No criminal charges were filed.”
