Danielle Lloyd has shared that she isn’t quite out of the woods just yet following a recent cancer diagnosis. While she had a successful treatment to remove melanoma from her skin, she has shared that she is now awaiting results on a second suspicious-looking mole, as she is trying her best to remain positive.
Speaking about her recent health journey, the mum-of-five exclusively told Express.co.uk: “The first one that I had removed, they have got all of that cancer out. But I’ve had another one removed since so I’m just waiting for the results of that one. But it’s been about six weeks, so I’ll probably have to wait a bit longer to find out. It’s always a long waiting process.” She continued: “I’m so busy at the minute, I’m just trying to forget about it but we will see what happens when I get the results. I’m just hoping for the best. Is it quite scary.”
Explaining more about her recent diagnosis, before needing to undergo more tests, Danielle said: “I had melanoma which is the worst type of skin cancer. But if you catch it early enough, then it is really curable.”
On February 4, the 41-year-old model, who recently took part in Channel 4’s SAS: Who Dares Wins, took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news of her diagnosis to her followers as she urged them never to ignore potential signs of the deadly disease.
At the time, she said: “I don’t really know how to say this and I didn’t know whether to come on and say it but I feel like I have to raise awareness of this. Today I have been diagnosed with a form of skin cancer.”
Through tears, the TV star added: “Anyone who thinks they’ve got something funny on their body – please go to your doctor. You just never know.”
Danielle has partnered with MyFitnessPal on the launch of Meal Planner, an in-app tool which aims to support users, including parents who want to get back to healthier routines after the summer break.
Meal Planners offers goal-based weekly meal plans tailored to household size, dietary preferences, and budget. With easy-to-follow recipes, grocery lists, and one-tap food logging, it’s a tool designed to reduce the overwhelm of everyday meal decisions.
As a busy working mum of five, Danielle is using the tool to bring order, healthy eating, and budgeting back into her family’s life after the chaos of the summer holidays – which come with plenty of calorific pitfalls (70% of parents report feeling unhealthier after summer, with ice creams in the park topping the list at 49%).
