Chantelle Houghton revealed she is still haunted by Jimmy Savile’s “creepy” comments on the show.

A clip of the shamed paedophile’s Celebrity Big Brother stint in 2006 saw him approach Chantelle, who was 23 at the time, and place a kiss on her hand.

Savile – who raped hundreds of people, including children, throughout his life – entered the CBB house in 2006, as part of a task, where he helped “fix it” for the housemates, and reportedly earned £150,000 for the two-day gig.

His horrific crimes were only uncovered after he died in 2011.

Speaking about his unexpected arrival into the Big Brother house Chantelle, now 40, admitted everyone was excited to see him, adding it had been an honour to meet him, although she did “overlook” his “strange” attire.

Having recently watched the moment back, Chantelle said she is now disgusted and horrified by their encounter.

She told The Sun: “I just think what he said to me was really creepy.

“It’s just really creepy and I feel pretty disgusted that I’ve even been in his presence, that he’s kissed my hand and said them vile things to me.

“It makes me really angry for the victims.”

She blasted Savile for thinking he was “untouchable” and added she hoped he “rots in hell”.

During Savile’s interaction with Chantelle on CBB, he said: “I know that many fellas love you, but they don’t love you with the sincerity and tenderness I do.”

She awkwardly giggled at the disgraced radio and TV host, who added: “I always tell the truth, even if I’m lying.”

Savile’s harrowing abuse scenes have been re-enacted in the BBC series The Reckoning which portrays the paedophile’s rise to stardom and the heinous crimes he committed at the height of his fame, as well as how he was exposed.

When alive, Savile was one of the BBC’s most popular presenters and figureheads, but was exposed as a serial abuser following his death, with actor Steve Coogan, 58, portraying him in the drama.
