Half a century after “Charlie’s Angels” captivated audiences around the world, the iconic trio of Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, and Cheryl Ladd graced the stage at PaleyFest LA in April 2026. Now in the twilight of their years, with ages spanning the late 70s to early 80s, the actresses displayed a strikingly youthful appearance that left many attendees doing double takes. Jackson, Smith, and Ladd—which included Ladd stepping in for Farrah Fawcett during the original series—were virtually unrecognizable as Sabrina Duncan, Kelly Garrett, and Kris Munroe, respectively. Observers noted that all three seemed to have undergone cosmetic enhancements, as evidenced by their remarkably smooth skin.

During the event, fans couldn’t help but notice that the actresses’ skin was notably smooth for their age, with their facial features appearing subtly altered, particularly around the eyes and mouth—typical signs of facelift procedures. This perception was echoed across social media, where users speculated about the likelihood of cosmetic surgery. One user on the social platform X quipped, “That plastic surgeon held a grudge…” while another remarked, “With that awful plastic surgery now it’s more like Frankenstein’s Angels!” These sentiments resonated with many who saw the event photos.
Jackson, in particular, drew a significant amount of scrutiny. In comparison to a photograph from the 1970s, her face now appeared more asymmetrical, which led some to suggest a possible mishap in her cosmetic treatments. “They should ALL sue their plastic surgeons, but Kate Jackson should sue everyone in the building!” one critic exclaimed on X. Despite the flurry of public speculation, Jackson, Smith, and Ladd have remained largely silent on the subject of plastic surgery.

Though the PaleyFest LA event sparked discussions about their altered appearances, the “Charlie’s Angels” stars have not openly admitted to surgical enhancements. Jaclyn Smith has been particularly vocal in denying such rumors. Speaking to the Daily Mail’s You magazine in 2022, she stated, “I don’t believe in fillers and I haven’t done any cutting,” expressing concern over the long-term effects of Botox as warned by her husband, cardiothoracic surgeon Brad Allen.

Renowned celebrity facial plastic surgeon Dr. Ramtin Kassir weighed in on the matter, suggesting that Smith’s youthful appearance seems quite natural. “If she’s had work done, she has been exceptionally controlled,” he shared with the Daily Mail in April 2026. While Jackson and Ladd have not commented publicly, Kassir speculated that Jackson, who faced the most criticism, might have undergone the least amount of cosmetic work. As for Ladd, he suggested she likely combines surgical procedures with regular non-invasive treatments.
The secret to her youthful look, she said, is recycling her own fat for facial rejuvenation. “If I put anything in my face, I use my own fat, which is hard to do,” she said. And while the latest group shot received some criticism, many fans have praised the “Charlie’s Angel” star’s youthful looks. “OMG! Jacklyn Smith is absolutely stunning! Then, now, always! A true Icon,” an Instagram user commented in a 2021 picture of the actor and her son (seen above).
