However, reality isn’t a fairytale and in 2020, Pataky spoke to the Australian magazine body+soul about the public’s perception that she and Hemsworth are the perfect couple. During the resulting conversation, Pataky revealed her “relationship is constant work”.

“It’s funny that people think of us as a perfect couple. No way. It’s been ups and downs, and we still keep working at the relationship.”

Later in the same interview, Pataky bristled at the idea that anyone would think that marriage is “easy”. However, Pataky revealed one of the keys to her marital success. “I always try to see the positives of things.”
