Brooke Vincent told her fiancé “we’re finished” after she had a nightmare morning before starting her new big radio job.
The former Corrie actress took to her Instagram page to share she had been locked out of her home while her partner enjoyed a deep sleep.
The star was left fuming when she had planned to have a productive morning before she began her new job on Hits Radio’s evening show.
Brooke is filling in for Gemma Atkinson who is currently on maternity leave to have her second baby.
She landed the job after going up against other famous faces and also hosting specials of the show before.
She will be on air every weekday from Manchester as she presents alongside Mike Toolan.
She then explained that her fiancé Kean Bryan was still asleep inside the house despite her efforts to wake him up.
She said: “Kean meanwhile is upstairs in bed! Blissfully asleep!!!!
“I’ve thrown balls at the window… Banged on the door! Banged on the window with the brush… nothing. ZILCH. So now I’m sitting here in the sun outside boiling because I’m in a hoodie… It can only get better.”
Keeping her followers posted about what was going on, she shared a follow-up video which she captioned: “Happy Monday guys. First 9 hours of being 31… it’s not for me! Take me back to 30.”

Brooke then said: “The most annoying thing about this whole situation, bar the fact I’m in a hood [and] I’m absolutely boiling, is the fact that I’ve been 10 minutes. It’s been 10 minutes since me and the kids left to go to nursery and I don’t understand.
“I’ve thrown balls at the window, I’ve banged on the window with a brush, I’ve banged on the door front and back, I’ve shouted his name.
‘I don’t understand how somebody is so blissfully asleep that they can’t hear that. I don’t get it. I don’t get it at all.
“ I don’t think that’s normal. I don’t think it’s normal that you are not aware of your surroundings and that you can’t hear that.”
“I’m really mad. I’m really mad at him. I hope he’s having an awful dream,” she added.
Finishing off the nightmare, Brooke said she had gone to her auntie’s house while her partner slept.
She said: “I know people find this really funny but it’s really annoying. I find it really, really annoying.
“Stuff like that really annoys me. Anyway, I’m not sitting in the garden, I’ve come to my Auntie’s for a brew.
“Kean if you see this with all the 15,000 missed calls, we’re finished.”
