Perhaps the biggest drama of the past week was of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Season 14 reunion, which saw Garcelle Beauvais getting fed up and storming out of the event, later saying she was dropping out of the reality TV show entirely.

On perhaps a brighter note, there may be good news coming from The Real Housewives Of Orange County. When Elizabeth Vargas was spotted filming with the rest of the cast, fans wondered if it might signal her return to the franchise once more.

Elizabeth Vargas Attended An Event With Other RHOC Cast

The rumors that Elizabeth might be returning to TV screens aren’t unfounded. Indeed, over the past weekend, she was spotted filming at a fundraising event with her former costars. The event was held on behalf of The Innocence Project, an organization dedicated to “free[ing] dozens of wrongly convicted individuals in California, Hawaii, and internationally,” taking place at a location in Costa Mesa.

The event was intended to be a “hoedown,” and Elizabeth posted a video of herself in her best Western attire on her personal Instagram page. In the caption, she expressed how meaningful the event was to her:

“I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all the volunteers, donors, and organizers who made this night unforgettable, especially for Anthony, who spent 20 years behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit,” Elizabeth continued. “Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised funds to help him further his education and take steps toward rebuilding his life,” she added.

Elizabeth’s Future On RHOC Remains Unclear

After Elizabeth posted to Instagram, fans of RHOC flooded the comments with praise, and many were hopeful that it signaled she’d be coming back to the show. The last time that she was a full-time housewife on the series was back in Season 15, meaning she’s been absent from the last four.

Some of Elizabeth’s followers commented that she’d been so sweet to talk to in person at the event, while others pointed out how fit she looked—clearly her absence from the show had not affected her fitness journey. Still, some social media users emphasized how much they’d like to see Elizabeth back on their screens:

As of this article’s writing, however, it has neither been confirmed nor denied whether Elizabeth will officially be rejoining the cast for Season 19 or for any future season beyond that. Elizabeth herself has been keeping plenty busy outside of the show, including hosting her own talk show, “Girl Talk Logic,” which films conversations that are then posted to YouTube for viewers to watch.

Eagle-eyed fans may notice that Elizabeth could look back on her time on The Real Housewives of Orange County with mixed feelings. While viewers may want her charming personality back on their TV screens, it’s possible Elizabeth prefers staying somewhat removed from the drama. Indeed, one need look no further than the description in her Instagram bio for her true feelings about her time with the franchise. Perhaps a longer break from the Real Housewives world is more appealing to her after all.
