Katy Perry is embracing a fresh fashion chapter.
This week, the pop star made headlines by joining her boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, signaling a significant milestone in their relationship.
Known for her vibrant and theatrical style, Perry opted for a more reserved look to align with the political atmosphere while standing by her partner.
On Monday, she donned a complete ensemble from Jacquemus, featuring a knit skirt priced at $990 and a cardigan set costing $950, accessorized with striking silver-and-gold earrings and sunglasses from the same designer.
The following day, she added a twist to traditional business wear, choosing a navy cutout jacket from Mugler valued at $2,450, paired with coordinating pants priced at $1,150.
While the singer is well-known for her whimsical style that includes rocking spiked chainmail minidresses, high-slit gowns covered in LED lights and patchwork denim looks, she seems to be toning things down as a plus-one.
The couple have been together since shortly after the singer’s split from fiancé Orlando Bloom last year. They hard launched their relationship on Instagram in the fall and made their first real public appearance together for her 41st birthday in October.
Page Six exclusively reported that the couple are really into each other — and loving the attention they’re getting for their relationship.
Could we see more first lady fashion in the future?
