Craig Conover Apparently Froze Sperm Ahead Of Paige DeSorbo Breakup

A surprising admission from Craig Conover in a Season 10 episode of Southern Charm made the realization that Bravo’s power couple is officially done even harder to accept.

On a Dec. 30, 2024, episode of Giggly Squad, Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo told reality TV fans that she and Craig had broken up after three years. The news shocked fans because of how adamant the couple had been just days earlier that they were stronger than ever and planning their future together.

With Season 10 of Southern Charm and Season 9 of Summer House simultaneously airing this winter, Bravo fans are seeking more clarity on their breakup, especially after Craig admitted to his friends in early episodes of Season 10 that he and Paige were already planning their future family…

Craig Conover Froze His Sperm For A Future Family With Paige DeSorbo

In the Season 10 episode “Sew Not Invited” of Southern Charm, Craig Conover shed some light on his and Paige DeSorbo’s relationship with his reluctant friends.

While at lunch with cast members and friends Shep Rose and Austen Kroll, Craig admitted that he and Paige were taking steps for the betterment of their future family. While Craig was ready to settle down and have kids already, he was undergoing the process of freezing his sperm for when Paige was ready.

Well, me and Paige have decided to freeze my sperm.

At 35 years old, Craig shared he and Paige were three to five years away from having kids. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the trajectory he saw his life heading. “The version of life that I saw myself living isn’t what I’m living,” he told cameras (via E! News). “Which, is like the stable home that I grew up in. Every night at dinner, my mom and dad were here, and my brother and I just loved that.”

The Sewing Down South owner continued, “But I think if you find the right person and they happen to be a feisty Italian from New York, things aren’t always gonna go how you have them planned.”

Craig assured his friends that he wasn’t ready for kids then, and wanted to focus on growing his empire, but Austen had a different recollection. Austen told the cameras that ever since he knew Craig, he’d wanted to be a dad as soon as possible.

Seeing Craig talk about fatherhood and his desire to settle down only made Bravo fans more devastated by the realization that he and Paige are no longer together and that it was all for nothing.

Why Did Paige and Craig Break Up?

While Craig has yet to comment publicly on his breakup with Paige, Paige explained where she was coming from during the demise of their union.

On an episode of her podcast Giggly Squad with co-host Hannah Berner, Paige explained there was no bad blood between her and Craig. They were just on different paths. “As you get older, I mean, I started dating Craig when I was 29 and I’m 32 now. And your 30s for women really are transformative. And you change a lot and you grow a lot. And him as well,” she tearfully shared.

I have so much love and respect for Craig.

“I think [Craig] is one of the best people I’ve ever met in my entire life. I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him. And he truly will get the best because he is the best.”

Fans Think This Comedian Is To Blame For Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover’s Split

Many fans expected Bravo stars Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover to announce their engagement over the holiday, but instead, Paige announced on her Giggly Squad podcast that the two were calling it quits. But rumors are swirling that Paige may have cheated with Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernandez, who’s making a name for himself as a ladies’ man in the vein of Pete Davidson. Paige shot down those rumors, but do you think there’s any truth to them?

Although Paige loved Craig and had made comments about settling down and marrying him, things changed. “It’s just the right decision for both of us, like moving forward in our lives, and like the direction that our lives are going in that we like didn’t forsee or like whatever,” she explained to Hannah.

Did Craig Conover Want A Future With Paige DeSorbo More Than She?

Despite loving the banter between Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo, longtime Bravo fans weren’t too surprised by their breakup. The two have always expressed how serious they were about one another, but many felt Craig’s feelings for Paige were stronger than hers — or at least his desire to settle down was stronger than hers.

In a Season 8 episode of Summer House (via Bravo), former cast member Danielle Olivera listened to Paige’s desire to marry Craig, but on her “terms.” Kyle Cooke asked Paige if she thought she was “stringing him along,” to which Paige responded, “I don’t at all because I know I’m gonna marry him.”

Danielle didn’t buy what Paige was selling and said, “There’s something holding you back, and I don’t know what it is… I think you’re giving him nothing.” Hearing Danielle’s words stung Paige. However, as fans look back, perhaps Danielle and Kyle were on to something.

  • Craig bought and renovated a property in Charleston, South Carolina, in hopes of creating a family home for him and Paige. While he owned the home, fans saw the couple design and furnish his home together.
  • Paige had been adamant about staying in New York City but liked the idea of living in the South whenever she and Craig had kids. As time went on, however, her willingness to relocate was less than. “I will be changing my whole life. I have no friends in Charleston, I don’t know anyone. My whole career is there, my family is in New York. I don’t want to leave my mom,” she cried to Craig in an episode of Summer House, per E! News.
  • In early December 2024, Craig told People that he stopped drinking alcohol to prove he was “husband and father material.” The reality star said, “I had made a decision months before the season started to become more of a husband and father material than just the fun boyfriend.”

Although Paige said she wanted to marry Craig, he seemingly made more efforts to get the ball rolling in that direction. Unfortunately for the pair, it didn’t work out — but this doesn’t mean that Bravo fans aren’t hopeful for a reunion of sorts between the pair.
