Crystal Kung Minkoff addressed the speculation surrounding Jacqueline Laurita and her potential involvement with Real Housewives of Orange County, confirming that the rumor is “not true.” However, the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum was approached for a “different show.”

In a recent conversation, Crystal mentioned that Vicki Gunvalson “reclaimed her orange” upon rejoining RHOC. Although Crystal was discreet about specifics, Tamra Judge revealed that Crystal wasn’t alluding to her. Meanwhile, chatter emerged suggesting Jacqueline, who recently relocated to Orange County and is friends with cast member Gretchen Rossi, was offered a spot on RHOC.

During an episode of Humble Brag, Crystal and podcaster Ryan Bailey delved into the casting dynamics of RHOC.

“Tamra is incredibly clever and approaches each season of OC like a strategic player in The Traitors,” remarked Ryan. “I’m really intrigued by their casting decisions for the 20th season.”

“How do you fix it?” asked Crystal.

“I think there will be a couple changes. But I think at this point, they’re just going to go with Vicki, Tamra, Shannon. I think Emily and Gina, one of them will go,” said Ryan. “We had a Page Six article today that Jacqueline Laurita from the Real Housewives of the New Jersey might be joining the cast.”

“I heard that’s not true,” said Crystal. “I heard that she was asked for … a different show.”

What show is Crystal referring to? It seems unlikely that it’s RHONJ, given that Jacqueline now lives in Orange County. And if it’s not RHOC, is she alluding to the new show, The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip – which is set to begin filming soon?

According to Bravo TV, Ultimate Road Trip “commemorates two decades of unforgettable moments, connection, and legacy, while ushering in the next era of Housewives.”

“For two decades, The Real Housewives has amplified women’s voices, spotlighted their ambition, humor, and strength, inspiring millions with their unapologetic authenticity,” said Chairman of Bravo and Peacock Unscripted Frances Berwick in a statement. “The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip is a love letter to the women who turned a reality television show into a cultural phenomenon — and the fans who’ve been there for every laugh, gasp, toast, and table turn.”

“In this special event series, a group of beloved Housewives from across the years embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, making their way through some of the most memorable locations in the franchise’s history,” the statement continued. “Starting where it all began in Orange County and culminating in an epic east coast grand finale, each stop will feature appearances by fan favorites from different cities to pay tribute to the past, embrace the present and look toward the many miles still ahead.”
