Love on the Spectrum star Dani Bowman opened up about her new boyfriend, Henry, after her split from Adan Correa, gushing over their blossoming connection on the heels of a spontaneous meeting.

“Like a perfectly timed plot twist in one of my own animated stories, someone completely unexpected walked into my life,” Dani, 30, told Netflix’s Tudum about her beau, whom she first crossed paths with at the Huntington Park Police Department.

She said they quickly formed a bond after her company, DaniMation, received a donation for autism awareness and Henry was the one to present the check.

At the time, Dani was still working on getting over her breakup from Adan and she said Henry sweetly pursued her over the next month until he ultimately gathered up the courage to ask her out.

Dani said she enjoyed how thoughtful and attentive he was, and how valued she felt in Henry’s presence, raving over how he supported her work and encouraged her dreams. “For the first time in my life, I’m with someone who truly sees me,” she shared, “Not just as an animator, not just as an advocate; not just as someone on the spectrum, but as Dani.”

“And that? That’s the best feeling in the world,” she resounded.

The couple recently enjoyed a fun-filled outing, which she shared with fans via her Instagram profile in a joint post with Henry. “Napa with some amazing people!” the caption read.

Dani and Henry have posted several cozy photos from their date nights, showing the duo enjoying making memories together.

The reality star went public with her new love after previously disguising his face on her Instagram.

“Finally, I can talk about it! New @Netflix article by #TUDUM out today! Yes, he’s 32, #Neurotypical, and a #policeofficer. We met last October, and we are in an official relationship! More to follow!” she wrote.

Viewers got to see the breakdown of her relationship with Adan in season 3 of the hit Netflix show after Adan wanted “to take a step backward — no kissing, no intimacy, nothing.”

“I didn’t break up with Adan,” she told Tudum. “He broke up with me. Or at least, that’s how it felt. Because for a year and a half, he let me believe we were on the same page, that we were building something real together. And then, just like that, he pulled the rug out from under me.”

“It wasn’t just a breakup, I felt it was a betrayal,” she added. “He never gave me a chance to prepare for it, never hinted that his feelings had changed. Instead, he let me walk blindly into heartbreak, like a deer in the headlights, while he had already made up his mind.”

Dani said they are no longer in communication after parting ways. Adan and Dani first met at a speed dating event on the show.

Adan, for his part, spoke candidly about leaving behind their relationship and trusting in his decision to lean on his faith. “Many of us on the spectrum have had difficult lives,” he said.

“I am confident that I will meet other girls that I can date and build a strong and honest relationship with. I do want to find love again. It happened once, it will happen again.”
