The Valley's Danny Booko Claims Jax Planned a Takedown of Him on Season 2 & Threatened Him During a Call, Plus He Says Jason and Janet Are "Malicious" and "Vindictive"

Danny Booko accused Jax Taylor of planning to take him down on The Valley season two during an interview last week with his wife, Nia Booko.

As he also admitted to feeling betrayed by Jason, 41, and Janet Caperna, 35, and wondered if they used him for a storyline, Danny, 41, opened up about the warning Jax, 45, dealt him before the start of filming on season two last year in regard to his behavior toward Jasmine Goode, 37, and her now-fiancée, Melissa Marie, who he touched inappropriately while drunk.

“[I heard Jax was] talking to people to bring it back up for the show,” Danny shared during a June interview with Variety.

Then, after calling Jax to ask him about the claim, “[Jax] blew up.”

“He was like, ‘You guys got off easy in the first season, and the second season I’m coming after you and putting a target on your back! You and Nia are fake!’” Danny recalled.

While Jax ultimately apologized to Danny at the May taping of The Valley reunion, Danny admitted to thinking, “I’m trying to have your back, and all you’re doing is stabbing mine.”

“It was a hard summer,” he added as he signaled the actions of Jason and Janet, who spotlighted his drinking and questioned his behavior throughout season two.

“Lies — just malicious, vindictive behavior from some people that I really cared about, and thought were my friends,” Danny stated. “Whether they’re doing it for the show or a storyline or attention or whatever, it’s just like: You don’t do that. This is real life.”

As for whether they would return for a third season of The Valley, Danny and Nia both said they would return.

“I just hate feeling things left unsettled,” Danny explained.

Also during the interview, Nia spoke of her desire to remain close to Kristen Doute, 42, and Luke Broderick, 34, who welcomed their first child earlier this month, and reacted to Jax’s violent fight with Brittany Cartwright, 36, which was a pressing topic on an early episode of season two.

“I was like, ‘It’s not safe. You definitely can’t be around him,’” Nia recalled telling her co-star. “It made me really worried for my friend.”

“When I saw the video, my first question to Brittany out loud was ‘What was he on?’ And she said, ‘No, he was sober, just so mad.’ He looked scary from a woman’s point of view,” she added.

The Valley season two airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
