David Beckham delivers most brutal snub to son Brooklyn yet

The year 2025 has been a rollercoaster for David Beckham, marked by significant highs and some personal lows. While the celebrated former footballer marked his 50th year with a knighthood from King Charles, the joy was tempered by a rift with his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, which cast a shadow over the year for David and his wife, Victoria.

Reflecting on the past year, David took to Instagram to share his top 20 moments through a series of photographs spanning the last 12 months. The collection encapsulated cherished holiday experiences, professional milestones, and treasured family gatherings. Notably absent from this visual narrative was Brooklyn, underscoring the family’s ongoing challenges. Despite this, David expressed immense gratitude for what he described as an unforgettable 2025.

In his post, he shared: “I feel incredibly fortunate for the experiences 2025 has brought, from my 50th birthday celebrations to receiving a knighthood (which still feels surreal), and concluding with the triumph of winning the MLS as an owner.”

He continued by acknowledging those who supported him: “I’m deeply thankful to my wonderful wife, our amazing children, my friends, and the team I work with daily. None of this would have been possible without you all…”

David concluded with a nod to his football mentor, saying: “As Sir Alex Ferguson would say, ‘Onto the next.’ Thank you for the unforgettable memories; I will always cherish 2025. @victoriabeckham, I love you and our kids dearly.”

Brooklyn was last photographed with his family at Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show in March, but he was missing from her following show in October.

While neither David, Victoria nor Brooklyn have publicly addressed the reported feud, tensions within the family appear to remain, with Brooklyn notably absent from two of his father’s biggest milestones – his 50th birthday celebration and his knighthood ceremony – both of which were attended by his siblings Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and 14-year-old Harper.

David and Victoria also chose to skip Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz’s vow renewal ceremony in August 2025.

The family drama has escalated to the point where Brooklyn has blocked his entire family on social media. Cruz shared a screenshot of a newspaper article suggesting that Victoria and David had unfollowed Brooklyn, but clarified this was incorrect.

He wrote: “NOT TRUE, my mum and dad would not unfollow their son…let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked, as did I.” Nicola, 30, has also blocked the entire family, meaning they can no longer view any future posts the couple shares.
