Amid ongoing family drama, fans have turned their attention to a heartfelt tribute that David Beckham has carried for years—his children’s names, permanently inked on his skin. This enduring symbol of fatherly love has captured the curiosity of many.
Devoted followers of the legendary soccer player are revisiting the tattoos David proudly wears, particularly the one dedicated to his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham. This piece, etched in a classic gothic script, was acquired shortly after Brooklyn’s birth in March 1999. The tattoo has recently resurfaced on social media following Brooklyn’s candid posts about the complexities of their relationship.
On January 20, a social media user highlighted this tattoo on X, bringing new attention to it with a post that has since attracted over 2.5 million views. “David Beckham’s tramp stamp of his son Brooklyn’s name,” the user remarked, sparking a wave of interest and discussion.
The conversation didn’t stop there. The same user pointed out that David also bears the names of his other sons, Romeo and Cruz, inked in the same distinctive script across his back. Romeo’s name finds its place just below the cross on Beckham’s neck, while Cruz’s name is positioned in the center of his back. Romeo and Cruz were born in September 2002 and February 2005, respectively. Alongside their three sons, David and Victoria Beckham, who have been married since July 1999, also have a daughter, Harper, born in July 2011.

David’s body art is a testament to his devotion to his family, with tributes not limited to his children. His wife’s nickname, “Posh,” is inked on his finger, and his daughter Harper’s name graces his neck, accompanied by the words “Pretty Lady” and a heart, further illustrating the deep bond he shares with his loved ones.
The Beckham family made headlines this week when Brooklyn took to Instagram to speak out about the ongoing rift with his parents amid his marriage to Nicola Peltz Beckham.
“I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,” he wrote in a post shared via Instagram Stories on Monday, January 19. “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed. I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”
Brooklyn alleged that the retired athlete and former Spice Girls singer “have controlled narratives in the press about our family” for his “entire life,” claiming they have also been interfering in his marriage with Nicola, 31, “since before my wedding [in April 2022], and it hasn’t stopped.”
“The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of the innocent people, to preserve their own facade,” he claimed. “But I believe the truth always comes out.”
Brooklyn stated that the night before he and Nicola wed, members of his family allegedly told him that Nicola was “not blood,” further claiming that his bride has been “consistently disrespected” by his brood, “no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one.” He also vehemently denied the “narrative” that his wife controls him, calling the notion “completely backwards” while stating that he ultimately found peace by distancing himself from his family.
David and Victoria have yet to publicly address Brooklyn’s claims. Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for David and Victoria for comment.
