After Demi Moore released her memoir, Ashton Kutcher tweeted, “I was about to push the button on a really snarky tweet. Then I saw my son, daughter, and wife and I deleted it.” This was followed by a tweet that included a phone number and a promise to share the “truth” with those who texted Kutcher.
In a January 2023 cover story for Esquire, Kutcher revealed that his kids were also the reason he couldn’t resist hitting back at his ex in some small way. Kutcher and Mila Kunis announced the birth of their daughter, Wyatt, on Kutcher’s A Plus website in October 2014, and they welcomed their son, Dimitri, two years later. When “Inside Out” dropped and disrupted the family’s domestic bliss, Kutcher told Esquire, “I was f***ing pissed. I’d finally gotten to a place where the press had really laid off me and Mila, and my life and my family. And then the next day, [the paparazzi] are at my kids’ school.” However, Kutcher expressed regret over the way he behaved at the time of the book’s 2019 release, saying in his snarky tweet, “It’s stupid to complain about things that you’re contributing to.”

According to Kutcher, he stays in touch with Moore’s daughters, Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout. Moore and Kunis also proved that they’re good sports by putting the messy situation behind them and agreeing to appear together in a 2022 Super Bowl ad, per Today.
