Taylor Swift and Kristen Stewart first stirred up friendship buzz in May 2013, after Stewart’s breakup with “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson. According to Us Weekly, PopSugar published photos of Stewart in a car en route to a friend’s house that was later revealed to be Swift’s. Later in the month, the outlet released more details about their burgeoning friendship. “[Stewart] went over with some friends,” shared a source. “They have some friends in common and hung out.” And while the nature of the hangout was never explicitly revealed, many assumed that Swift was helping nurse Stewart through her failed relationship.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear as if Swift and Stewart are a part of each other’s lives today. At this point, it’s been years since the duo demanded any write-ups. However, it appears that their friendship possibly lasted at least a few years. In 2017, Swift seemingly showed Stewart a little support by attending a screening of her film, “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk,” per Just Jared. However, the film also starred Joe Alwyn, who Swift had just started dating at the time. So, maybe we shouldn’t put too much hope into this particular friendship.
