Everyone’s favourite ethical serial killer is back in action as Michael C. Hall returns to his Golden Globe-winning role in Dexter: Resurrection.
This latest chapter in the Showtime series, which was revived in 2021, sees Dexter Morgan (portrayed by Hall) venturing to New York City to carry on his moralistic killing spree.
Fans of the popular series are eagerly awaiting Dexter: Resurrection, curious about what lies ahead for their favourite anti-hero, reports the Mirror US.
When will Dexter Resurrection be released?
Dexter: Resurrection is set to premiere on Paramount+ with the Showtime Plan in the USA and Paramount+ in the UK on July 11.

Dexter: Resurrection comprises a total of 10 episodes, with new ones airing weekly and the finale scheduled for September 5.
Dexter: Resurrection matches the length of its predecessors, Dexter: New Blood (2021) and Dexter: Original Sin (2024).
Who stars in Dexter Resurrection?
As previously mentioned, Hall will once again step into the shoes of the iconic Dexter Morgan.
He’ll be joined by Dexter veterans David Zayas, reprising his role as Angel Batista, and James Remar returning as Dexter’s father, Harry Morgan.

Jack Alcott will reprise his role as Dexter’s son, Harrison Morgan, an actor also recognised for his part in The Good Lord Bird.
In addition to the return of familiar faces, Dexter: Resurrection boasts a star-studded cast, including Game of Thrones’ multi-Emmy winner Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater.
Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill’s Hollywood icon Uma Thurman will play Charley.
Neil Patrick Harris, known for How I Met Your Mother, will portray Lowell/The Tattoo Collector.
John Lithgow, from The Crown and Third Rock From the Sun, will reprise his role as Arthur Mitchell/Trinity Killer.

Krysten Ritter of Jessica Jones and Breaking Bad fame will be Mia Lapierre/Lady Vengeance.
David Dastmalchian from The Flash will take on Gareth/The Gemini Killer, while Ozark’s Marc Menchaca will play Red. Jimmy Smits from The West Wing returns as Miguel Prado, with Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet as Al/Rapunzel, and Reese Antoinette as Joy.
Erik King has confirmed his return as Dexter’s adversary and former colleague Jim Doakes, who was killed off after suspecting the Miami police detective of hiding a dark secret.
Additional cast includes Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva, Emilia Suárez as Elsa Rivera, Steve Schirripa as Vinny, and David Magidoff as Teddy Reed.

What can we expect in Dexter Resurrection?
Dexter: Resurrection picks up weeks after New Blood’s events, where Dexter was shot in the chest by his son Harrison.
In the upcoming series, Dexter wakes from his coma to find his son missing without a trace and heads to New York City to reconcile with Harrison.
However, Dexter’s journey towards redemption is set to be challenging, as his past resurfaces when Angel from the Miami Metro unexpectedly arrives with inquiries. Both Dexter and Harrison will find themselves navigating treacherous paths in the urban jungle, facing greater peril than they could have ever anticipated.
Ultimately, the father and son duo will need to reunite if they are to escape from the depths of their predicaments.
