Pete Davidson has been a part of two big relationships as of late. Originally becoming an A-list star off of his comedy career and his engagement with Ariana Grande, he’s rebounded from the latter by dating other A-list stars Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski. He’s done all of that while being a main cast member of Saturday Night Live and starring in The King Of Staten Island. Pete’s also had to deal with a lot of cyberbullying and a public feud with rap superstar Kanye West. For whatever reason, Pete is a target of a lot of hate.
All of this romance has created something called the “Pete Davidson Effect”. It’s basically about how somewhat unattractive men can become more attractive by being equally charismatic and vulnerable, two things that most men struggle to be. Despite all the hate, Pete’s become a highly sought-after man by numerous women. He got with Kim Kardashian, arguably the most famous female in the world. Kim’s recently had to file for a restraining order against one of her many stalkers, so maybe she’s a little too in demand.
After dating Kim for the majority of a year, Pete moved on by rebounding with Emily. Many people wondered how Kim felt about it since it happened so quickly. Kim and Pete may have ended on good terms, and they still might be favorable to each other. However, feelings can be hard to control. Kim possibly even let her feelings slip on social media, even if only subtly.
Kim Kardashian’s Cryptic Instagram Post May Have Shaded Pete And Emily
Social media is a huge part of the Kardashian brand. Reality television may have been the biggest factor in their success initially, but as fans have switched over to social media, so has the billion-dollar family. Kim in particular has a whopping follower count of 340 million.
Kim usually keeps it peaceful on social media. Even after Kim left Pete she initially kept things quiet on all fronts, including her favorite platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The only places she really spoke about things were in interviews and on TV, and even then she didn’t say much. She only confessed that it didn’t work out between her and Pete because of their age difference. Her public divorce from Kanye didn’t really help quell things either.
All of that was before Pete started seeing Emily. One of the biggest models in the world, it wouldn’t be surprising that Kim was a little jealous of their fling. Not only was it immediately after Kim and Pete were done, but Emily is quite in demand herself. According to Models.com Emily is the highest-paid model in the world.
Not too long after Pete and Emily started seeing each other, Kim posted a couple of revealing selfies to her Instagram. These posts were more over the top than her typical photos.

Right after that, Kim posted a lip-sync video to TikTok to one of Ariana Grande’s songs. Ariana was also an ex of Pete’s, and the shade didn’t go unnoticed by many. Due to the timing of these uploads, a lot of fans thought this was her subtle response to Pete’s rebound with Emily. She has yet to say anything publicly, but these posts certainly seem like subtle shots.
How Emily Ratajkowski Feels About Pete Davidson And Kim Kardashian
One might think that Emily would take all of this the wrong way. Emily can be quite petty herself. One time she used her nanny to send messages to her ex-husband. However, there don’t seem to be too many hard feelings for Pete or Kim.
Before Emily saw Pete, she was pretty good friends with Kim. Back in 2016, the two supermodels posted topless selfies to social media and nearly broke the internet. Behind the scenes, Emily has reportedly been tight with the other Kardashian and Jenner girls, so now that she’s done with Pete, she may be going back to her old friendships. Publicly, however, she hasn’t said anything about Kim, and she’s never responded in any way to Kim’s potential digs.
Emily might feel slightly more negative about Pete. After they stopped seeing each other, she said on her podcast that she attracts the “worst men”. This was right after she was through with Pete, so many observers of the situation thought she was targeting the Staten Island comedian.
It’s crazy to think that the two have already moved on from each other. Emily was recently spotted out with Eric Andre. It may have been a date, it may have been friendship. Meanwhile, Pete has been seen being comfortable with his close friend Chase Sui. What about Kim, however? Has she moved on yet?
Is Kim Kardashian Currently Dating Anybody?
Kim currently isn’t seeing anybody. There might be something going on behind closed doors, but there isn’t any public information about a Kim K romance.
Back in September, Kim appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden. She confirmed that she and Pete were through. She also said that she wants someone “older”. She’s looking in the direction of white-collar professionals such as doctors and scientists. Overall, she believes that a fourth marriage should “be the charm”.
Maybe Kim’s waiting until after her divorce from Kanye is finalized. Considering how Kanye reacted to Kim’s romance with Pete, it might be smart.
