Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is over except for part three of the reunion. Now, there is some evidence to suggest that viewers have casting news for season 17, as it seems Shamea Morton may not be returning after one season as a housewife.

As fans know, Shamea has been in the hot seat at both parts of the reunion that have aired, as well as on social media. Not only did it come to light that she tried to form an alliance for the show, but Porsha Williams has also proven that her longtime friend has been dishonest on several occasions.

Recently, the Instagram account @Mrhousewives caught wind of Shamea seemingly removing RHOA from her Instagram bio. The person posted a series of images with a text overlay that read, “Shamea Morton removes RHOA from her bio- sparking speculation that she won’t be returning for season 17.”

The caption of the post admits that this is mere speculation, stating, “Okay, I’m not convinced she’s not returning—but I was just on her page a couple days ago and RHOA was definitely still in her bio, along with her peach-holding pics pinned to the top.”

It continued, “Now fans have noticed that Shamea Morton has removed ‘RHOA’ from her bio after part 2 of the season 16 reunion aired this past Sunday. Not only that, but her celebratory post about finally getting a peach is no longer pinned. Naturally, people are speculating that she’s out.”

From there, they went on to remark on how RHOA season 16 went for Shamea. Like many, the person running the account admitted that she isn’t having “the best reunion.” However, they also stated that she had some high points during the season. In addition to the photo showing that RHOA isn’t in Shamea’s bio, one of the other photos included says that she removed the pinned post where she celebrated getting her peach.

After this was posted, Shamea shared a post from Bingeworthy on her Story. It said, “Shamea NEVA HAD #RHOA in her bio… FAKE NEWS.” The post included an image purported to be from before this drama erupted and showed her bio without the show being mentioned.
