Dorit Kemsley hinted at a possible envy from Sutton Stracke over her blossoming connection with Rachel Zoe following a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which showcased the group’s escapades in Italy.
During the episode, Dorit, 49, suggested that Sutton, 54, was stirring up trouble by encouraging Amanda Frances, 41, to find fault with her. Amanda also insinuated that she often felt the cast was speaking ill of her. Dorit criticized Sutton’s “bizarre” behavior, while Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 49, questioned Sutton’s recurring irritation whenever Dorit formed new friendships.
“[Sutton gets] very annoyed. And yes, it’s just so bizarre [that Sutton gets jealous when I make new friends]. Bizarre woman behavior,” Dorit remarked on the March 26 episode of the RHOBH: After Show. “It seems that she doesn’t like it if anyone wants to befriend me or form a relationship with me.”
Boz further inquired, “She doesn’t like you to have new friends, but she’s not going to be your friend? Why continue to be upset about Dorit’s friendships?”
Looking back on their trip, Rachel, 54, recalled Sutton insinuating that she and Dorit couldn’t be apart for an hour.
“I was not ready for that … I just didn’t think that was necessary,” she noted.
Dorit and Sutton have long been at odds on RHOBH. But, according to Dorit, they were starting to make “real inches forward” with one another before venturing to Europe.
“Over in Italy … behind my back first, Sutton was like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna room with Amanda,’ and then Rachel comes to me and says, you know, and said that Sutton was advising Amanda to have a problem with me,” she shared.
Meanwhile, Sutton insisted that she was simply trying to get Amanda to be honest with Dorit.
“I think Dorit respects when you’re very honest, and you stand your ground, and you say what you mean, and you mean it, and that’s what I was trying to get Amanda to do with her,” she stated.
Also on the After Show, Amanda accused Dorit of assuming the worst of her castmates.
“Why is that always Dorit’s thing? No matter what’s going on, she just decides everybody’s talking bad about her, and that’s the thing she’s gonna be mad about. Is there like, nothing else to talk about?” she wondered.
